Pinching chest during cardio...

Why would this happen? I get a pinching sensation dead center behind my sternum. I was only ten minutes into treadmill at 5.5mph.
I DID take a thermorex this morning, but normally I do not have any problems.
Please let me know.
I am 23 and have been OFF for 2.5 months now.

Have you ever had heartburn or any signs of acid reflux? I had the same sensation but I'm prone to acid reflux...I justed upped my dose of Prilosec and have had no problems. I also have a hiatal hernia.

Go see a doc. That could be anything from heart to arterial problems to something as simple as acid reflux.

Yes..what Spikey said...I forgot to mention that after experiencing the sensation more than once I did go to my doc and ultimately had a stress test. Nothing to fuck with so you want to rule out the heart. I then had an endoscopy that revealed the hiatal hernia. Been fine ever since with the increase in Prilosec.
