Post work diet after Cardio ?

Ok so after weights I'll always down a carb drink with some whey protein, but on cardio days should I do the same ? I know I need to replenish glysogen levels but I don' t want to put back on what I've just burned what do you guys recomend ?
this is such an open ended depends on so many variables.

i do cardio in the AM on an empty stomach and have my regular breakfast right after.
Funny, I've been thinking about this all weeks, as I'm cutting up...

I decided that since I can't eat how I like too, I having a little high GI carb and a "Cheat" pwo on any day I do weights or cardio...good or bad it heps keep me sane.
