Preferred Injection Spots

Good luck! Keep us all updated. I especially would like to hear if you feel any different throughout the week or if you feel the same positive effects of TRT

this is my first trt shot.. so i wont see how i react to it for another 4 weeks at most.. ill do bloods then..

my main reason for going sub q is to avoid scar tissue.. i have heard how bad it can get over years of injections

I prefer ventrogluteal. It seems odd at first but there's much less PIP especially when you're using a short estered testosterone.

Day 3 after first sub q injection. No issues at all. No pain. Nothing! I'll be doing my first hcg injection today. And will inject another 100mg test tomorrow.

I might give this a try. I have so much scar tissue in glutes n quads its like sticking a needle through a box of rice crispies sometimes. Crunch crunch crunch. Lol

I am noticing very very minor pain now that I touch it. The test has had enough time to crystallize so it's expected. Still much better than im so far

ventro? help me take a stab at it

Anyone want to help me out identifying the ventrogluteal injection site? Apologies for the partial nudity.
Please, no guesses. This ain't pin the tail on the donkey :)

I am going to a doc appt next week. I am just going to ask them to show me where it is. Anything I find online shows you how to locate the spot on another person ratherbthan one's self.

I have a friend that does the sub-q. It freaks me out-but he said it's now his favorite spot to pin. Right now I'll stick to the rotating the old glutes and quads. Although, I have considered the shoulder area.

Has anyone ever tried the calf area?

Delts are great for me, hardly feel a thing during or after using a slin pin.
Have not tried calves myself, but have not seen them mentioned here without the phrase "never again".

Right delt for Test
Left delt for HCG
both using slin pin insulin needles, 29gauge 1/2 inch

Used to do glutes when using bigger needles without issues.
Have had bad experiences with quads, calves, and tris.

Keeping it simple baby

do not, i repeat, do not inject the calf area!!!

Vebtro Glute is my favorite spot. Go to IncreaseMyT.com and check under services they have a great page dedicated to injections.

It is easiest for me to find this area buy shifting my weight back and forth, it will bulge right where the muscle is. Dont think to much about it, just go to the biggest part of the muscle.

Just my 2 cents

I guess I'm lucky for having a woman who does not mind pinning me. I just rotate the glutes every week. As for sub injections, it was a no go for me. I started with IM for years and then switched to sub. Within a month I crashed hard. If you look around you will find people with lab reports showing a decrease in test levels when doing sub injections. Once I went back to IM I was back to my old self within a few weeks.

Well I tried the ventro-gluteal site once both sides now. I'd say the results are mixed. I'm pretty sure I have the right spot. On one side, I did have a little nerve pain going in, but not bad enough to make me reflexively pull out the pin. The other side was a bit easier.
I'd say I got a fair amount of PIP on both sides compared to quad or delt... pretty noticable when getting up and lying on my side. I'll probably try it a few more times at least to see if I get used to it more.
