prozac + steroids=?

Would it be a good Idea to use a anti-depressant while on cycle? I just got it prescribed a month ago. I was thinking that it can help me keep calm and collected also sleep aid while on high doses of test right? Any one have any experience with this?

Also one concern is that will this drug cause my liver to work too hard? I will be on 400 test and 400 eq.
 
Well if that is your only reason for being on prozac is to be more calm, I do not think it will help tremendously. A benzo here and there would definitely be more effective, but you want to be careful not to get strung out on them. If you are going on prozac for depression or some other medical condition it could make your mood swings worse being on steroids. I am not in medicine but I have been on benzo's and different anti-d's in the past for anxiety. The benzo's definitely helped me more then zoloft.

here is what i wrote

When I started Zoloft the sides I got was upset stomach, ears ringing and taking longer to cum during sex..heh I was on 100mg ed for anxiety. I didnt think it helped as much as the klopopin did but benzo's you have to be on shorter durations. I do not think that if you just want to stay more calm on cycle to take prozac. It does have a longer lasting half life, but if you want to come off it, taping can become cumbersome. It took my 8 weeks to slowly taper down from the Zoloft. If you need just temporary relief, try talking to your doctor about something that you do not have to take daily.
I didnt have any blood tests done when on a cycle and anti-d, but I have had a cholesterol panel done when I was at week 14 on 500mg a week of test and I didnt have any elevated levels. I did not though have any hormone levels checked. I dont think that prozac would be stressful on your liver, but if you are concerned you may want to just avoid any orals with it.

the reasons you are taking prozac are not reasons at all...you must have a construed vision of what testosterone does...for me it provides a feeling of well being and stressful situations are worked through alot easier...as far as sleep goes...bro your not takin tren...you will sleep fine on test...

unless you actually need prozac I wouldnt waste your money
 
Im on Lexapro,Wellbutrin XR and Valium and ive been on Testosterone testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for several years,and ive never had any problems yet,"Knock on wood"....but i havt to take the medications,and the addition of test actuall made me feel better,because when i got my test levels checked for the first time,they were low,and that was making me feel tired,no energy etc,and when my Endo put me on test,i those feelings started to come back,i now have more energy,and feel better or somewhat better,at least half way normal..as the last few years have went by,my Endo has increased my dose of Test to get my levels up more,its helping my moods somewhat,and my energy,increasing my appetite,increasing my libido....good luck my friend,i think with the addition of test with your prozac,you will start to feel better
