Pulled 500lbsx2 does my form still look alright??

Form looks good in my book. But why stop at 2 when you could have done atleast 1 more?

they're asics wrestling shoes. Got them on sale at Scheels for $24.99 :D work great for dl's and squats. Think about any decent wrestling shoe would do. Hear good things about chuck taylors also

yeah....my bad....i was saving my energy for my 1rep max and then after a little rest I was still frikken shot after that 500x2, so yeah, wish i wouldve just did 500x3 and forgot about the 1 rep max.
 
the bar never touched your legs til you locked it out. this means you losing valuable leverage. sit back and pull. drag the bar up your legs. you got enough stength to pull 600. and lose those baggy ass black ass pants. esp on deads and squats. it makes it hard to see the form. :D

your kness locked out a little early too. if you wanna be picky. you wanna try and time thehips and knees to lock out at the same time. or as close as possible.

but over nice pull. looked smooth and strong. esp for a tall guy.

thanks PB. So i have to pull more up and back?? is that what youre saying. I'll take a vid in shorts next time. Sure there will be blood all over then :D i have a few marks on my shinns were the bar touched. But i'll work on dragging it up my shins.
 
Quick ? for Josh or PB or anyone for that matter. If I'm pullin off the floor and shortly afterwards my lower back is sore I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any idea? I try and mimick video of PB's guys and now Josh but I'm obviously doing something wrong. I am running the bar up my shins and locking out at the top.

are u keeping your back arched?? or rounding it some?? My lower back gets tight after doing some big pulls. But doesn't hurt. Difference from being sore and being in pain. You can tell if its just muscle tightness or if u screwed something up. Can you take a vid of yourself pulling?? Its pretty hard for me to say w/o even seeing you. Maybe start off real light until you get your form down and THEN increase your weight. Maybe that'll help w/u being sore and help prevent an injury in case u r doing something wrong.

Yeah it's not injury but I must be rounding. It's just a sore back but nothing that in any way limits nay of my lifts. I want to pull more like how you pull. I must be over the bar to much and I probably should focus on pulling back and up.

the bar needs to be in contact more so once its above the knees. look at your clip. ( i lightened it up a to to see better if you want it). the bar is off your legs clearly. if it dont peel the skin off thats ok but it needs to be right on your legs. esp once it gets to the knees.

pull back. when you set lean back just a little. it will feel like if you let go of the bar you would lose your balance.

your set up loooked good. nice and tight.
