I'd mostly agree. I boxed with my weight from 180 through 250 lbs over the years, in my own categories and open class. I never had a problem knocking someone out that had 40 lbs on me, and the only serious knockout I suffered, with a concussion to boot, was when I was about 240 lbs fighting a skinny 170 lbs guy. It was a friendly training match and I could've walsed over him 300 times, but was told to take it easy on him and just let him have a go at it. But that doesn't matter. He had me with a lucky punch in the fourth round, and down I went. I couldn't imagine he could ever come up with a punch to knock me out, but he sure did it.MUNJA said:I been boxing for 10 years ill tell u something mass is not that important i have seen my best friend (135lb not a pound of fat) knock down guys 220 lb + its all about speed and technique alot of guys think just cuz they big thay can punch hard its not like that I knock the shit out of 5-6 BB ers in my days (weights gym was next door) i was 18yo 230 lb tall (6'6") at the time they were 250 + shorter and massive. you have to work on speed
