Quad injection

Quads and tri's are the best... pretty much painless.. I've hit a nerve once or twice in my quad... and nicked a vein once... but its pretty damn easy.. I go on the side about where my palm reaches.. sit on the porcelain throne and throw a dart :)

depending on how lean you are i use a 5/8 and that seems to be about perfect. 1/2" was just a little to deep for me. Quads are easy, however, they can sometimes be a bit pain ful right at the beginning-push through it and you'll be fine. I have always done quads up high never down low. Let me know where the sweet spot is near the knee.

I pinned my quad till I hit my IT band tendon. It was incredibly painful and fugged me up for about 3 weeks.I can't bring myself to do it again.

thanx for all the info fellas-i have done many lower quad injections-but usually keep it within 6 inches of my knee-did not know i could go all the way up to 5-6 inches from hip. just going to really spread the love around on this cycle-and experiment with every injection site.

yea man its my fav spot...the first one will cripple you tho dude. after your muscle gets used to it, its smoooth sailing from there

I stood up straight and let my hands relax at my sides (That's half way down the quad on the outside). Then I just used my finger tips as the injection piont. Sat on the sofa with my leg on the coffee table and pushed the pin in one shot. It was a pretty tight injection compared to glutes. I could have hung my coat on it...lol

I aspirated it twice to be sure I wasn't on a vein or arterie. Once when I first put it in, and again half way through. Everything went fine and not a single drop of blood. It's been about 8 hours now. No pain, no problem. I had a little sensation running down my leg but it was gone after 30 minutes or so.

I got to say that this was one of my fears. I imagined hitting an arterie and blood gushing like something out of a horror movie. That's why I avoided it for so long. Now it's just like cake :)

I think I did this as well. It has been 5 days now and I am just getting so I can walk. No way I can do stairs. Probaly my fault though for using a 23G 1.5" in my quad :eek2:

Yikes, That's pretty deep.
I used a 1" and I know now that I could get away with a 3/4" no problem.

Just a note that you want to keep to the front. There is a pretty big tendon running up the side of your leg from your knee. If you wiggle your foot around you will see and feel it. You want to be more to the front of that.

Now the pec and trap injection scare the hell out of me... : |

5/8 is just over a half?

anyways, i just use a 23x1 inch. but this last inject i did 150mg of prop and 4 days later my leg is still fucking sore and its hard to walk. i dont think i'll do quad again for a while. even tho i think the problem isn't the prop itself, but the high amount, because it never hurt until i used 1.5ml of it.

Thanks for the info in this thread even though she's over a year old. Pinned glutes and delts, never quads. Pins just arrived for my ace/prop cycle, pinned my upper thigh with no probs!

Holmes, what I do standing up let my arms rest on my sides where ever my wrist lands on my upper thigh 1-2 inches down is where i pin. I seat on the toilet relax my leg by moving the knee inwards and the foot outwards, kind of like if your leg is broken..that way where you pin is in the outer side of the thigh.....i lov eit when it works...very easy and painless, unless i hit a vein on the way in, then i chicken out and try next site....but back again next pin....
