Question about aspirating?

When you aspirate and you are not in a vein, should you see bubbles rise to the top of the oil? It may be a dumb question but the first injection for me ever is coming soon and I am getting a little nervous. Anyone ever injected into a vein?

You should see bubbles and no blood. if you see blood, take the needle out. Put on a new pin and try again.

You should see the bubbles, but if you are in a vein, the pressure will push a fair bit of blood into the syringe so that you wont be able to miss it. I have yet to have any blood in a pin though

and if you hit one real good like I did one time in the quad, it will shoot up into the syringe without you having to even aspirate it. Got a bit lightheaded from that one.lol

Its not actually bubbles of air it just creates a suction, as liong as there is no blood then you should be in the clear

That is what I wasn't certain about, I want to know what I am going to be seeing, I think I understand now. So I won't see bubbles, okay.

You will see bubble VERY VERY Small ones but like I said it is just a suction and when you let go of the plunger it will push them right back in its just a suction and not air, there is no air in your blood. As long as no blood then your cool.
