If a male has hypopituitarism, then would all hormones (LH,TSH...) be low?
I'm asking cause I know that I have low LH. But other than that there are no abnormalities.
I also have latent hypothyroidism, where my TSH was elevated at 4, this is why I have been taking 100mcg T4 for over a year. Recently I started adding 10mcg T3 cause my ft3 was not optimal.
What confuses me is that 3 years ago I went to a clinic because of low T and on the doctor's report it mentioned nothing
about hypopituitarism. It only said that I have low T and that I should try T gel.
But then on the doctor's bill which came much later it suddenly said hypopituitarism. Now I don't know what to think about that.
I mean does it even matter? If I had hypopituitarism would the therapy be any different or would I still simply get TRT for low T?
I also wonder if I really had hypopituitarism then wouldn't my TSH also have been low, instead of being high?
