As a boxer of 2 years and a huge boxing and mma fan I am curious how pervasive the use of gear is in boxing. I know in mma the guys skirt the rules and use large doses of trt, but what about in boxing? Especially from super welter and middleweight on up

less dependent on the weight divisions, more depending on the level of the fighter/ organizations involved..

a lot of guys use dif substances/compounds to cut during training camp..

they also help maintain strength and stamina when enduring just brutal dieting to make weight..

sorry took so long, can answer more specifics later on this afternoon/ tonight

been a crazy shitty weekend.. still recovering

Another question. How often as an amateur that does this for a hobby with no interesting in turning professional unless they wanna give me a few thousand to be a tomato can should i be sparring at 100% effort as opposed to 50%. I know pros do it 2-3 times a week in camp, but what about am armchair knockout artist like me? Considering I am 222lbs I love giving punishment, but i sure as hell don't like receiving it and getting hit in the body by 250lbs man really fucking sucks.
