So I just got back from the gym. I was really looking forward to doing some rack pulls in the rack today but this old man was doing forearm work and around 8 sets in the rack and I couldn't wait any longer. It was starting to really frustrate me. I want to put a sign on the rack this equipment is for Squats and Deads. I couldn't wait any longer so i tried them in the smith. Im not a fan of machines but I will say they didn't feel to bad. Kinda help isolate my lats a little better. Unfortunately I didn't get that crazy stretch and burning feeling in the traps like with the free bar, but I made up with some behind the back shrugs supersetting to slow front shrugs. That crushed me, strongly recommend it.
