as far as dc goes i was playing with the routine and making some mods to make it more user friendly for those who are less gifted in the recovery area like myself. i have about got it worked out and added some PLing movements to the routine as it was lacking some in this area. i didnt use short breaks, or the major negative work. i also made it a 2 day per week routine but with more posterior core work. ill get back on it after the meet and finish it up and post what i come up with.
as far as your bench goes you have the size and strength to put up some big shirted numbers. i wish you were here so we could work together some. its always easier when you have an experienced guy to help with the little things. i am fortunate to have been trained by jeff for several months and now i still get to work with world record holders at my gym and the surrounding area. NC is a hot bed for world class PLers. we have several within an hour or two drive and they always welcome me when ever i go train with them. another one of our gym members just won the ipa nationals in the 181 class and took best overall light weight lifter. 720 squat, 470 bench, 620 dead at 181. 1810 total for a 10x body weight total. sweet. he smoked a 505 bench but got redlighted for his ass coming up which is impossible the way we bench. it was hotly contested by his coach and the head judge (loui), the side judges called it.
