Red lump after HCG inj

I injected Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) like I normally do about 3 inches to the left of my naval. It stung as I pushed the needle in. After i injected and pulled the needle out there was a bit of blood which stopped after I applied pressure to it for about 10 seconds. Now there is this hard red lump under my skin. What should I do?

You should do nothing. You went thru a blood vessel. It happens on occasion. It will go away in time. I've had the same thing and it left a bruise after the red lump went away.

All kidding aside, User is correct. Unless the site irritation becomes much worse, do nothing.

And find a new injection site. At least for the time being.

Try injecting on your love handles..might be a better spot then the front of your stomach. Or go to places where theres a little more fat tissue. I have noticed this will help and avoid getting those kind of lumps. Will go away in few weeks. Nothing to worry about.
