I've always done a 5x5 or 3x8 routine.
It's always been 3 on 1 off.

Chest/Tris
Alternating sessions with Chest/Shoulders
Legs
Back/Bis

Anyway, starting a cycle soon composed of 500/500 Prop/Mast weekly, and 75TrenAce EOD.

What sort of training routine should I follow to gain the most lean mass, and strength with some BF cuttage.

I have a squat competition coming up in Feb that I need to tweak up, and get the last amount of gains I can before then. It's just a 1 rep max.

Obviously diet is a huge part in my goals, so I'll be posting in the diet forum as well.
 
ive done the same routines like you stated as well,also ive done the 5/3/1....now i just started a new powerlifting/powerbuilding workout that is great for mass and strength

chest-
Incline BB press-6 sets of 5
Flat DB Press-4 sets of 10-12
Decline BB Press- 2 sets of 10
Incline DB Flyes-3 sets of 12

Triceps-
Lower Incline smith machine close grip bench-4 sets of 10
Tricep pressdowns-5 sets-1st set of 20,then 15,15,12,12

Skullcrushers on decline bench-3-4 sets of 10

Biceps-
SB Curls-4 sets of 8
DB Preacher curls-4 sets of 8
Hammer curls-3 sets of 10

Back-
Bent Over Rows- 4 sets of 10-12
Wide lat pulldown-4 sets of 10-12
Machine Row-4 sets of 10-12
DB Rows-4 sets of 10-12

Shoulders-
Military Press-4 sets of 10
db lateral raise-3 sets of 10
db front raise-3 sets of 10
Face Pulls-4 sets of 12
Bent over db raises-3 sets of 10
BB SHrugs-4 sets of 12
 
& such workouts will be the best to maximize the effects of my next cycle?
Also what about for legs to help with this upcoming comp?

yes i would think so,im doing a test/deca cycle right now,and im loving it so far....its the thing,just a change up in routines will help alot....sorry i forgot the leg routine lol

Squats-4 sets of 15
Leg press-4 sets of 15
Leg Ext-3 sets of 12
Leg Curls-3 sets of 12
Calf Raises-4 sets of 12
