So leg day today, and it went as follows.....

Lying hamstring curls 60x20 80x15 100x12 120x10
BB squats warm up + 225x5 275x5 315x5 365x5 185x12 each rep paused at the bottom.
Leg press (with bands) 8 plates ES 3x8
Leg ext 3x12 195
Standing single leg curls 60x12 80x12 100x12

Adductor superset with abductor 2x12 110

Standing single leg calve raises w/ 25lb DB 3x12
Seated calve raise 3x12 140

Thats a wrap, chest and tris tomorrow.

Excellent work man, I like poppin in on your log and reading through the last few pages every once in a while. Inspiring to say the least.

Do you take measurements, do weigh-ins, and take progress pics? Curious to see all of those.

Also, I don't know much about EQ, but if you were to name 3-4 goods, and 3-4 bads, what would they be? If any bads. I've heard great things but haven't researched much about it for myself.
 
I can chip in with my 02 cents here...

Goods to EQ: Crazy appetite, fantastic endurance, very good stripping qualities if you stay on long enough, Dry, granite like appearance at the end of the cycle.

Bads to EQ: Takes absolutely ages to get to work (16 weeks minimum for length of course), increases RBC and Hematocrit (donating blood is a must, before, during and after cycle) Raised appetite (if cutting), Very suppressive.

I'm sure Schredder can add anything I've missed though...
 
My original plan was to post before and afters at the end but I wont be posting pictures any more due to my privacy.

I will post weight at the end though. I also have a few weight updates throughout this thread.
So EQ is a decent compound. Ive used it twice. Would I use it again? No

EQ pros: Very mild on your system, increased appetite, slow steady LMM gain (prevents a easy come easy go situation)

EQ cons: Raises you hemocrit fast than any other compound, must be ran for a very ling time at a decent weekly dose (this can become costly), takes a very long time to see physical changes from it.

If it were a gun fight you got it outta the holster first brother!! Lol. Yup pretty well bang on, it dose give you very good look once your done.

But for me just for the fact it has to be ran for soooooo long, I wont run it again. There are other compounds that will do more in a fraction of the time.

If I wasn't on TRT and suppression was a worry, then I wouldn't entertain Eq - the length of the cycle makes it harder to rebound for sure.

Absolutely, but the appetite while in it is the BOMB. Add some Tren to that and its out of control. Mind you, some peoples appetites gets killed from Tren.

That reminds me of an update actually.

So last time I ran Tren I experienced basically no sides other than the odd hot flash and some deadly heartburn. But this time im noticing some new things happening. Terrible sleep for the most part for the past two weeks (I do have prescribed sleeping pills but dont like to overdue it on stuff like that, so I use them sparingly), night sweats this time around, not soaking wet but damp the whole night. And something odd I found that ive actually read some guys getting before is paranoia at night, not bad, but as it gets later in the day I notice it slightly.

On the other hand, appetite is through the roof, so is sex drive. I have no anger issues (I attribute this to not having any when im not on anything as well) I actually feel like a god most day, very euphoric and so intensely focused on anything Im doing. My strength is rising quickly, and am changing, looks wise, by the day.

So hats off to the AML tren E, excellent stuff!!!!!

I know it has devastating aesthetic appeal, but how do guys contend with the hunger pangs when cutting?

For me it does and I know other guys who it does the same for. I remember the last time I ran it it was the same thing. I ate everything in sight, my diets wasnt as good as it should have been at that point but I still built muscle and looked super shredded. This time my eating habbits are MUCH better so the results are too.

Ya Im not sure how one would deal with the extra hungry pangs from a drug on top of the ones that are already there.

guys run it pre contest due to it ability to prevent muscle wasting from being in a caloric deficit and its ability to increase feed efficiency, an asset when cals are low and of course theres nothing that will make you look how Tren does!!
 
Hit chest and tris today

Flat bench warmup + 185x5 205x5 225x5 245x5 265x5 one more set with 135 for 12 reps each rep paused at chest

Incline HS 2 plates and a 25 each side 3x8 after last set directly into 1 plate a side for 12 reps each rep paused at chest

This next thing was kind of different, I used 45lb DBs and started off on a flat bench doing presses I increased the incline each time until I ended up doing a shoulder press the last set 4 different angles each set, 3 sets, 6 reps each angle

Cable flys 4x12 40 drop to 20 for 12 last set

Overhead DB ext. 20x12 35x12 35x12
Cable pressdowns 120x15 140x12 160x12 last set was 60lbs starting away from the cable and working my way in, 1 triple set, 10 reps at each distance.

Dip machine 3x12 195

Crunches 3x25
Hanging crunches 3x25
 
Back and bis last night.

Wide grip pulldowns 105x20 135x15 165x12 195x10 drop to 135 then 105 both those set were behind the neck
HS row 2 plates ESx12 2 plates and a 25 ESx10 3 plates ES x8 3 plates again for 6 drop to 2 plates for 6 drop to 1 plate for 6
MTS high row superset with MTS low row 3x8 for each 80lbs for each
Hyper ext/cable pullovers/cable pulldowns 2 set for each 12 reps for each 40lbs on the cable

Concentration curls 3x8 35
High machine curls 3x8 60
Hammer curls 40x8 45x8 50x8

Strength is climbing very quickly, the pumps I getting are just fuckin ridiculous the 50lb hammer curls felt like feathers. So awesome. Think im gonna hit some delts today, it either that or a day off and I dont see rest in todays forecast .
 
Breakfast shake today......

1 cup egg whites
250ml orange juice
1/2 cup oats
1 large banana
Few pieces pineapple
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 cup shredded coconut
30g vanilla isolate
Creatine
Orange flavor BCAAs

Blend that up and BOMB, you have one kickass breakfast.

Smith machine military 5x5 on this work up to 225 then had to drop to 205 for the last set
Front raises 2x8 35

Wide upright rows 3x8 70
BB shrugs 225x8 2x315x8
Machine shrugs 6 plates 3 sets 8 reps

Thats a wrap I meed some food and some sleep back at it on wed for........I dont even know yet, I figure that out when the time comes.
 
Hahaha! What happened? Did you blow the top off the Ninja?!

Fiance wanted to make protein waffles on Sunday but I accidentally gave her a protein pancake recipe...which dripped all over the place in the waffle maker (I had no idea they were different consistencies etc)

So she added a bunch of oats to thicken it, but I cleaned the waffle maker in the sink and she's worried about getting electrocuted from some residual water etc so rather than arguing I said ok lets make them into pancakes...

So, the batter was then too thick and it was taking ~15 minutes per pancake between the cooking, cleaning/scraping and re-coconut oiling...to top it off she quadrupled the recipe so we're into this fucker for 1000ml worth of eggwhites, a decent amount of natural protein powder, oats and a pound of cottage cheese

All I really wanted to do was watch casino royale in my underwear, drink coffee with eggnog and try to do a standing backflip

1 protein shake
5g creatine

is all I ever need. What could possibly be more beautiful than that?
Tasty, sure there's more tastier breakfasts.....but my smug satisfaction that I have a better body than 99% of the world is a taste good enough for me :)

I feel the offseason is the time to have a little more variety than we usually get with food

No reason to burn out on protein powder and plain oats when we're targetting 4000-4500cal/d

There's plenty of room there for some protein pancakes, a hamburger or even sweet potato fries once in awhile

Train hard, eat (mostly) clean & grow...
