Serious injury or slight pull?

...okay, I've been dealing with this pain in my brachialis/ant. delt/clavicular part of my pec major for about a week...I'm not sure WHAT exactly I did to it, although I'm sure it was either a) "benching" last Saturday at my physical assessment (wasn't really a true bench - it was kinda awkward, which is why I think it might be from that) or b) doing flyes on my chest workout Tuesday...

Anyway - how long is too long to be dealing with discomfort? I mean, when do I know whether it's serious or not...I don't want to go to a doc, especially since I don't know anyone around here...is there something I can take to help heal this??
 
Sorry to hear that Brat. I never had that injury so I can't help on the rehab much, but i am thinking a round of massages may help and I will volunteer ro do that for you:)
