My back looks like a little junior high school kids back, what exercises (besides deads) can I do do thicken it?

I'm thinking of doing just deads and pull ups for my back.. anyone have any first hand experience, from turning a slim back to a thick one? Any input would be appreciated?
 
easy bro start with 3 to 4 sets barbell rows 8-12 reps
pull ups or pull downs(not as good) 3-4 sets 8-12reps
dumbell rows 3-4 sets same reps and the deadlifts 3/4 reps off a power rack
 
Incorporate both full and "quarter" deads into the routine; to really focus on the mid-back, try the quarters in the smith machine for a swicth-up once in a while. Otherwise, yup, wide chins and rows are g-o-o-d.
