Setting reminders for meds

I may be the only one that didn't figure this out right away, but I thought I'd pass it along anyhow.

I recently switched from keeping track of my meds on a wall calendar to my cell phone. Sometimes I'd forget to look at the calendar and miss something. Anyhow, after switching to the cell phone I put in a reminder to take my test shot every 5 days....simple. But I take Adex every 2 1/2 days. I had to think about that one for a while, but came up with a simple solution.

I set 2 reminders to go off every 5 days just for the Adex. The 1st reminder I scheduled for 8AM and set to go off every 5 days. Then I set a 2nd 5 day reoccurring reminder starting 2 1/2 days after the 1st reminder.

So.....if you set reminder #1 for Monday at 8AM, set reminder #2 for Wednesday at 8PM, and every 2 1/2 days you'll get your reminder.

I have been using my google calendar for reminders for a long time. I would be lost without it! Just remember to make these types of reminders private if you share your calendar with anyone.

I don't use Google Calendar specifically due to privacy issues. And I use a Blackberry because my business requires security.

I would never be anywhere on time if it weren't for my google calendar! My wife and I put both our appointments in so we each know what the other is up to. Super convenient!

As far as privacy, I'm sure you could put it in as "feed goldfish" and "clean catbox". no one would ever know. For me it's on my personal phone calendar. I allow no cross over of personal life to anything work related. :beertoast

Ohhhh shiiiiii...

Jay kay. I'm too simple to even bother with that for AAS. It's either Sunday/Thursday (TRT), M-W-F (blast), or ED (omg so much oil blast) . :wiggle:

Fortunately, Blackberry 10 has a feature called "Balance" that keeps personal and business related items completely separate and secure. I used to use a Blackberry for work and an Android for personal use. I got tired of carrying 2 phones, so I ditched the Android.
