Shake after cardio?

Whats your guys take on a shake after cardio. Im currently trying to cut BF% so ive finally taken the plunge in jogging or exercise bike.

After cardio Im absolutely taxed. It feels like my body craves my normal shake. I make one scoop goat whey protein 30gr. one scoop gatorade powder and one scoop of BCAA powder 10grams. At 270 lbs and jogging down the road it's a site to see and it is very taxing on my body so you guys see anything wrong with the post cardio shake? After shake about hr. later I eat decent meal usually chicken, veggies, rice or Fish instead of chicken.

only times I'd take carbs is post workout (lifting) and 1st meal of the day with R-ALA. post cardio if you go with a shake I'd leave the carbs out.

i always have a protein shake no carbs after cardio to make sure there is no catabolism then a solid protein/carb meal shortly after.

So basically the protein powder and amino powder is fine just drop the gatorade mix?

Good advice above, your doing the cardio to burn extra fat (not carbs) so you want to continue that process going even after you done. If you give the body carbs to burn, it will do so first before fat. Besides it is a different type of breakdown on the muscles so you normal post-workout shake will not do the same thing.

If I could sagest a few things bro;

1) Try doing so other cardio rather then running on the street, its very hard on your body in a lot of ways, especially when your bigger and it will take its toll, trust me!

2) You could try a product called "recovery" by powerlab nutrition, it may help and there's no carbs or anything to worry about, just some good recovery aids.

3) If your set on running try going to a track that has rubber as opposed to asphalt. It will be easier on you joints and body as a whole.

Hope that helps bro!
