small chest seeking help?!

i need some advice...i am 17 years old, and for my age i have a pretty good size .....then theres my chest??? like it is really really small. i lift more then all my friends on chest excerices but their chest are twice the size of mine?? i just started my first cycle of test enthanate but i am waiting for it to kick in? maybe it will help? i dont know what im doing wrong, i train it once a week, i do sets of 5 on every chest excersise switching them up every week.. but still small chest!!! i eat, i sleep, i eat, still a little flat chested. any advice???
 
you could be overtraining your chest. try to lift the same with your friends. its true that less is more when it comes to training. train hard but low volume (low sets and reps) your cycle wont help that much because it is a training problem. if you arent growing without gear, you wont grow much with it. diet/training are the staple to a physique. the gear takes you to a different level.

lower your exercises to only flat and incline pressing. if you can do weighted dips, do them too. you should not be doing 5 sets on any chest exercise. my chest is probably my best part next to my back because all i did were the basic free weight movements and i stuck to only 3 exercises, mainly 2 switching up a third. for my chest, ive always done flat dumbell presses, incline dumbell presses and either flat/incline dumbell flyes. i dropped the dumbell flyes and do weighted dips now. i did 5 reps on the last set with 60 pounds after flat and incline pressing. also, you need to increase your strength every time you go to the gym. you must add weight to the bar or increase dumbells. make sure you eat at least 1.5g protein/lb of bodyweight, if not 2.0.

dude your 17...you should be worried bout getting your first lay not how big ur chest is. give it time. some many ppl expect things to happen is 6 wks. which reminds... i have this mate who always says....ill do this that and this and in 6 weeks ill be huge.....and all we say everytime we see him is GIVE IT 6 WKS MATE. dont be one of these ppl!

Building an awesome body takes a life time of hard work, heavy lifts, good nutrition, plenty of rest and heaps of fire in the belly.

starkraven i would have to agree and disagree with your statement. firstly i agree that he quiet prossibly is overtraining but at such a young age where the bodies ability to recover is greater it is had to tell....but at this age he certainly should be juicin.. basic compound movements are a must to build a decent foundation but at the same time form much be strict and perfect. this kid may be able to lift heavier weights then others but his form may be rat shit.

my advice to you would be stick to the basics, do 3-4 sets with 8-10 reps with strict form. once ur form is good then lower the reps. dont be a fool and jump straight into the low reps...you will injure yourself. a injury you dont want staying with you the rest or ur life
 
yes i overlooked his age, we dont have too many 17 year olds on the board who juice. my advice is to stay away from it, you already produce enough test naturally, and you can stunt your growth too if you use gear. concentrate on the basic movements, free style exercises (lol ronnie coleman) and 'lot of hard..training. and yes practice good form or you will be in the gym going through the motions.
 
diet=mass proper training=mass rest=mass conquer these three then maybe look into creatine... damn 17 and juice.... what a shame if yor juicing to get laid.. think of it like this you could be the biggest guy in the world but no girl in her right mind is gonna want to pop a zit for you b4 she can suck you off,..............
 
im 17 i know, i already get laid, im not taking juice to get laid!! im getting into competing and stuff and i wanna get started early and i cant have big arms big neck/ shoulders big legs claves then have a flat chest!!?? i mean i talk to guys at the gym and they say that im not to young to juice... im just tryna be the biggest dude i can be!! thanks for your alls advice....i know i thought i was over training with the 5 sets of everything but some dude goes to the gym who just got out of prison and was like huge!!! he said do 5 sets... thanks for the advice
 
just because he said do 5 sets doesnt mean it will work for you. everyones body is different. if you ever step on stage, you will know this and believe this far before it happens anyway.
 
keep on experimenting with different chest programs...eventually, you'll see what works for you and another thing...don't overtrain...and be patient!!
 
i know a couple of ex cons that ive lifted with or hung out with over the years and the reason they are so jacked is because they would work out 2x week with weights and they would do situps in their cell....
