Iv'e used this since i started training, started around 4 months ago, I have hardly got much stronger on it and all as it does now is snaps my shit up, i mean i have 15 a side on, started on 7.5's's for sets of 7-12.

If i switch to barbell, will it be better for me and will stop these shoulder from feeling like there snapping? form is good but I am getting pains now.

lots of smith machine haters out there - including me. Lol. you should definitely try barbells...it will only improve your form over time. As far as pain goes, you wont know until you try.

Another thought is you mightwant to try a 5x5 routine to get your weight and strenght up if thats what you are looking to achieve.

My personal opinion on all of those "machines" is that any piece of equipment that forces your joints into a fixed plane throughout the movement (smith/hammer strength/etc) is an injury waiting to happen. Especially for something like shoulder presses which (also in my opinion) require you to adjust your angles throughout the movement due to the working of the joint. Machines are fine for something like leg extensions/curls as that joint is a simple hinge but for anything else I always use free weights. Cables due to their freedom of movement are also safe if you need to do any machine work.

Lose the smith machine for military press I switched to dumbbells and had way less shoulder pain. Obviously your weight will go down because you are now working your ancillary muscles to balance it, but who cares.

Or maybe drop military press completly or nearly completly from your routine and have healthy shoulders for the rest of your life.

I am not a smith machine fan at all but I do from time to time use this machine for seated high incline or military press. Free weights are always way better imo. Smith machine is not a free weight. I hate when people say oh I can squat so much and then you find out its on the smith. Fuck that lol.
