heres my dilemma guys...

I wouldnt call myself wide, but when i'm viewed from the front i look decent enough.

But when you look at me from the side, it's like my body magically disappears. If anything, I look like a surfboard, wide in the front, but damn thin from the side.

Any tips as to how to make myself look THICKER?

compund movements such as bench, deads and squats...theyll bring out tons of thickness...
just keep working out and ull get thicker over time...

and eat every 2.5 hours or sooner... get your b/w in protein or more, and dish in the pasta.. a workout wont do shit for you unless you supply your body with fuel. dedicate yourself, check out musclegaintips.com, or research the DC (Doggcrap) routine. good luck to ya, almost 3 years ago i was asking the same questions

Id suggest listening to Pullinbig...he has put a handfull of people on here on custom programs that have yielded great results, and as im one of them as well. His workouts are simple, high intensity and meet your needs! Check out the "deadlifts thicken waists" thread to start off reading as it has tons of helpful tips and routines.

yep , stick to the basics and lift heavy . several years ago i met ed coan [ one of the best powerlifters of all time ] for the first time and when i saw him in person i thought[ no way thats not him , hell im wider than he is ] and i probably was but then he turned sideways and holy shit his chest looked 2 foot thick .heavy compound movements will thicken you up so do more squat/deadlift/bench/dumbell and barbell row/etc. and less concentration and shaping excercises
