So I'm getting a gym membership. How should I start?

Just for the record, I do eat more then 3 meals a day (4-5) but that's what I prefer. a) When bulking I can spread the calories out and b) I feel like my nutrients are spread out evenly and it seems to keep my energy at an even state through out the entire day. I'm also a VERY easy gainer so when maintaining or cutting, it seems to help keep me in check..IMO Subjective I know, but different strokes for different folks.

yea theres no problem with eating a high number of meals, it makes taking in a lot of calories easier, but the typical BBing dogma that high meal frequency leads to better partioning or metabolic effects just doesnt hold water. thats the take home message. do whatever works.

im a finance major actually. physiology is just kind of a hobby of mine - very interesting stuff.
 
Drako, I apologize. Thanks a lot for all the help guys. I will be posting up before pics and arnold type after pics in a lil while. The gym im at has no introduction but it's like 5 bucks a month in you're a student and I can ball up any time. I'll work on finding a workout buddy at my college and do a little more research when I get home. thanks again.
