Hi there
I've used a search option and found (among other things) these threads:
http://www.steroidology.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6158&highlight=soy
http://www.steroidology.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4285&highlight=soy

I've also found this article - http://www3.baylor.edu/HHPR/ESNL/publications/MD40-9-130-4-03.pdf

and actually I've got lost with all these reasearches. One says that isoflavones affect endocrine system, other says that it doesn't. So:
-does isoflavones may have negative impact on anabolic adaptations?
-is soya protein good source of protein (in men bodybuilding)? I've read that it doesn't contain all essential amino acids...
-is it truth that consuming of soy protein may have negative impact on absorption of some amino acids form milk/eggs/meat/whey.
-do you recommend eating soy as a source of protein (how often?)

Thx for all answers...

i wouldnt recommend a male bodybuilder use soy as his main source of protein because as far as i know, it DOES affect the endocrine system as far as estrogen levels go...

But what do you mean TxLonghorn? Can you develop this sentence, please?

On this I do apologize, but I can't. I basically do the research and move on. But it soy messes with your hormones as well as your thyroid and has some estrogenic properties if I remember correctly. In fact, I do remember Australia banned soy from baby formula's because of the danger they perceived.

Bottom line, I stay away from soy as much as possible.

I really do apologize that I can't even point you in the right direction on this. It just never really interested me since I never really ate it too much anyways. I did however warn my family off of it.
