Sprinting

Figured I'd post this up as most of us are bodybuilders and tend to stick with what we know. Yesterday I went out and tried some sprints for the first time in years, and all I have to say is WOW! I haven't been sore like this in a while.
Im reading this workout and I'm like that's it.. seems easy. They only reccomend 6-9 sets of sprints.
Well I did 6, and my whole body is sore. My groin, quads, hams, calves, neck everything!

Get out and try some!

dude, i do a sprint workout a couple times a month. Check out my journal. Its an ass kicker.

nice post.

Sprinting really helps, not only you feel exhausted but being a anaerobic excercise, it helps a lot to build muscle, specially in the legs.

Try dashing 100 meters, 5 sets...you're won't wanna even stand up the next day. Even driving hurts

Sprints are awesome!

I just started sprinting myself a couple of weeks ago. I do both outside hill sprinting and the sprint-8 routine on an elliptical machine in the gym (30 second sprint, 90 second recovery x 8 sets)

Sprints will:

Promote lean muscle gain & fat loss
Promote fast and super-fat muscle fibre development
Release up to 530% extra growth hormone

Keep sprinting!
Koi.
