Form wise 545 was real good..had a little trouble setting my foot with 600 lol but form was fairly decent..My camera crew had trouble so i didnt get any footage which i really wanted to actually see how the hell im doing..

Good job BB, how much of a gain is that in the last year (on squats with no box)?

its all about the box..i went from a mid/high 4's squatter with questionable form..to 600 in 12 weeks( natty too) i dont expect the same return over the next 12 weeks but it will no doubt be up..

As far as year over year its hard since i squatted on/off due to my knees but like i said since using a wide WSB stance i never use wraps and never have knee problems..
:wink2:

thnks dawg i appreciate it..no we just have to bring up the dead and i may be half way decent lol

I think your dead will be fine. I have a feeling you need to just feel the weight and fail once or twice without your back going out, and you will realize you are fine.

i think youre right..
either way /deads need to be done every week either for speed or work up to a heavy single etc etc...

im gonna ride IA's idea of 1x5 for a bit and get back to a respectable weight/form

atta boy BB , you make me and your mom [ pullinbig ]so proud

thats hop-along too you.

sweet numbers bb. congrats bro.

get ya in a good suit and you be hittin 7 shortly. maybe first time you dawn the suit. if you can get a feel for it. suits are aggravating to squat in, they change everything.

Is it accurate to say wide WSB stance means toes slightly out with width slightly greater than shoulder width with ephasis on pushing from the hips?

Oh yeah . . . .

Congrats! Nice work . . . Keeps us pushing for me to hopefully get past ya some day!

louis guys normally have a very wide stance. and i mean wide. like a sumo puller. and yes with this stance most of the push comes from the hips in the hole esp.

exactly..my feet are actually under the side rails of the squat rack..

toes out or straight doesnt matter go with whatever gives you more flexiblility..

i have played around with my stance over the years and finally ended up about a medium width. well out side the shoulders but not ultra wide like chucky v. my groin just cant take it. i have always been prone to groin injuries so i just settled as wide as i could go without hurting myself. =0(

From what I've heard groin injury is NOT something to mess with
