Squats. Big boy or not....

If a guy can "FULL" squat 405lbs (4 plates a side) for 10 reps, is it safe to say he is considered one of the big boys? Im not talking mr.olympia, im talking jym rats...

Everyone has a different opinion on what a Big boy is, but what would you say? Big boy, or not big boy?

Also, say the guy has a lean face, but he is wearing baggy cloths, so you dont exactly know what he looks like.

Thanks. Try not to ask questions, just give YOUR opinion to keep it simple.

I say no. I only max squat 405, but a buddy of mine back at school reps it. He's my size, and I don't consider myself big, so I have to say no.

Damn. Are they "full" squats, or stop at 90 degree squats? because there is a BIIIIIIG difference.

They're about halfway between full and parallel. Same way I do mine - not quite ATF, not quite only 90 degree squats either.

I see. Thanks.

Keep them commin guys!

4 plates a side = big lift IMO
once you are starting to throw around that sort of weight, you need to know what you are doing. It may not be the biggest lift in the world, but if you are repping it then its pretty solid

Yeah, thats what I think too! As long as they are "FULL" squats!

Half squats, and 90degree squats dont count.
