SQUATS video

on saturday i did legs and thought that may be i should post a video of me doing a set of half squats... have a look..i m doing 270 lbs// i can go till 320 lbs .. am i doing fine??

i have a very bad pair of legs compared tooverall structure but what do u peepz think abt the squat motion?
its in 3gp format cuz i shot it on a cell..

Start doing deep squats, half squats will screw up your knees and will not give you the growth that you want. Use lighter weight to keep yourself from sacrificing good form. Those half squats are a waste of time. You need to go below parallel.
 
That is a half-squat? Kind'of looks like it should be called a one-third squat.

I commend you for posting a video, though. Wish some of the little guys in the anabolic form that self-proclaim "I know how to lift" would do the same.

i do full squats aswell but its half the weight of what u see in this video..

i aint no little fella though :)
 
Get rid of half squats all together save your effort for full squats. From the video it looks like you should try to put on some size, you are fairly thin, but your structure looks like it could support alot more mass.
 
do deep ass to grass squats, drive with your heels and dont tip foward yuo will be fine. Squats will make your ass huge lol, but seriously loose the half squats, you will grow lots on ass to the floor squats.

no disrespect intended but "that thing" you just did is a waste of time. you wanna grow? go all the way down. even if you can only do the bar that's where you need to start.
 
ahh i have a 29inches waist so a big ass will look cheap.. :)

after reading all the posts, i think that half squat thing is nothin but shittt... i will ahve to concentrate more on deep squats /box squats...

by the way i aint thin bro, 175 lbs.. 16.5" arms , 43 " chest and 29 waist
and a pair of chicken legs... :)

I'm 246 pounds, 19.0" arms a 51.75" chest and I feel like fuckin BRUCE LEE I am so svelte! :laugh4:

like PB said above go all the way down..youre not accomplishing anything..just like this guy in my gym who did 550 the other day for reps mind you..you cannot even tell he works out let alone can squat..my guess is he couldnt get to para or below with 225..

back off the weights and go low

do them next week with the bar and film it. post it up and let's see it. if you feeling froggy try 135 and post that. go all the way down, to the bottom of the universe. you'll thank me later.

let me make this clear one more time so you understand what im talking about. go as deep as your body can possibly go. do not stop until you are bottomed out. what this means is go all the way down. when you think you at the bottom go deeper. capisce?

a guy with chicken legs should almost be able to drag his ass on the floor. make sure when you film it to get the legs in the clip so we can see how deep you are. i know you got a purdy face but thats not what i want to see. :D

guess what? after a while youll be able to wear shorts with your slinky top to the gym. wont that be nice?
