That's great, but we forgot to mention something: after you go that deep, you are actually supposed to push it all the way back up. Yeah, I know, we said "squat" not "squat and then push it back up." Sorry 'bout that, but it really is essential.

that my friend is the bottom of the universe. impossible to go any deeper than that without crumblig up and blowing away. :D

how big is the file? i would love to see that set.

thanks guys!!! well, I have two vids of me squatting, both are 6mb and I'm using a freaking dial-up modem. tried uploading it at rapidshare.de but always discons and coudln't complete the upload. if anyone could help, I'd appreciate it. ^-^

was doing 110 then..last rep of 5..
I know my no. isn't anything compared to anyone here..but it's a very big improvement for me..^-^
not ot mention the form.
I got way too used doing squats on smith machines on my old gym(really felt like leaning way too much forward and cheating a lot too...so i'm still getting used to power rack squats.
 
and yes, going deep really puts plates back to the plate racks. decreased poundage by 60 since going deep, but I'm slowly gaining back. max is 132x5
 
you doing the right thing angry. hats off to ya. you can always work just below parallel off of boxes for a change. the pic is prolly 8" below parallel just for a reference point.
 
p-big, is there some kind of streching routine or something that helped you when you started doing deep squats?

I can only go a couple inches below parrallel then I feel a twinge in my groin and I am wondering if streching would help this?

Now you've given me a horrible image in my head of somebody doing deep squats, only to rip their grown open and loose their intestines.

Damn I must be sleepy. The nightmares are starting already.
