Start-up Advice needed

New to this and have read so many articles, stats, threads, and comments that I really need someone with experience to help me sort out a cycle and products. I'm 52 , 5'6" 185, extra around the waist, and do not know BF%, in good health and have been lifting and exercising for a few years now and old shoulder and back injuries are no bother. bench sets are reps with 200, squats are only at 165 to avoid aggravation, and have good movement and form in all other areas.
I'd like to do a 10-13 weeks with Primo and EQ, and I choose these two because of the lower side effects and a better chance to lower the waistline. There should be a fair increase in strenght and muscle and a decrease in BF. Don't want to gain alot of weight but am hoping that the fat will be replaced with muscle.
500 EQ/wk 200 Primo/wk or vise-versa Please comment, Thank you

Personally, at your age I really believe you should be running a low dose of Test w/whatever you decide. Infact, you may need to be on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (test replacement therapy) all together. Have you had your test levels checked lately?? If so what were they? At your age I would be a little leary about using DHT compounds like primo because of the increased chance of prostate issues, etc. A simple way to look at EQ is it = Test-light. If this is your very first cycle you'd probaby be best running 12 weeks of Test Cyp at 300-500mg/week. Then next time you could throw in EQ or even Anavar (var). Just my opinion.

Never have had a natural test level done. Will read up on the replacement therapy. At the 500 per week you mentioned will the clomid/nolva combo be needed at the end of a test only cycle. Am I being indecisive with too much literature to sort through and should just go to tried, tested and simple.

JayC has answered just about every possible question already. I'll just add my 2 cents.

It's a bit more complex than just replacing fat with muscle. The more muscle you build, the easier it becomes to melt away the fat due to an increased metabolism. I'd suggest a 'clean bulk' this time around. Next cycle you could always add some EQ or Var and focus on cutting.

Just Nolva after a Test cycle is fine in my opinion. Yes, post cycle therapy (pct) should be completed after any cycle... unless our on TRT/HRT.
