Starting my First Cycle of Var.....

I'll jump in here. I'm on week 10 of var cycle (5mgED) My strenght in the gym is amazing and keeps getting better. My arms and legs have gotten slighty bigger in a good way. Like now even when my arms are relxed you can tell i work out by the definition in the delt and bicep area.

I didn't diet as during my compeition prep so the hardness isn't there. I think a woman sees a major difference on this when prepping for a competition as it holds onto the muscle mass & then you're so leaned out from the competiition diet which makes you look more muscular/bigger

I agree with someone who mentioned that var is not a fat burner and you really have to work hard at leaning out on this. Like your boyfriend said after this cycle ends concentrate on bulking up (on no AAS) then when you start your next cycle diet very hard and the results will be amazing.

Are you still on 20mg ED? How is that for you. Your strenght must be off the charts at that level

This is week 7 and im still doing well with 20mg ed! But my strength isn't off the chart!!!!!!its only an increase of like 5lb-10lbs more, so That is why we think that the var isn't full strength! but we live and lean! That is what we are trying to do for my next cycle learn about what I should do and what I should take so I can research it then go from there!! Have everything ready for the next run! My diet(if need be) and my mind.(lol) try not to expect too much.. wink.

It's not at all. it has gone up a little, but nowhere near what it should. This is why I am seriously questioning the legitimacy of the Var. No sides other than slight acne but could be stress related as we are working 7 days a week and always moving and scrambling to get things done.

I think where the confusion is, is in the fact that I have very little time to sit on the computer. Something like 5 minutes a day. I think I just spew out on here what is in my head, and I think it comes out wrong, lol. What E and I have talked about isnt all up here, as neither one of us has alot of time in the day to post. So for the confusion I see where your coming from. That is my fault .

The Calorie bit was trial and error. Like lexi said, at 20mg a day, E should be putting up some way better numbers than she is. It sucks to say, but it all goes back to my previous post on it being underdosed (or bunk). At that dosage, she should be increasing strentgh/ feeling more pumped/ body weight changing somewhat. So far it isnt happening. I know var is mild, but it's kind of obvious (to use anyway) something isnt working. Granted this is only like week 2 or 3 that we jumped up over 10mg ED. So it may still change.

Even you said if she was handling 12-15mg fine try bumping it up. So we did.
Since she isnt leaning out/nor gaining much, we opted to drop the cals a little.
I seriously think any of the gains she has made is ALL from her diet alone.
We werent expecting her to put on 10 lbs of muscle, but I seriously thought even at the diet she was on for a first time user, 5lbs at least was reasonable.

It is posible to gain "lean muscle". We dont all have to eat 4,000 cals a day just to build a little muscle. Does it help..... absolutly, but not 100% necessary.

Not everybody's strength is supposed to be " OFF THE CHARTS" when doing aas!!! Just because Lexxi's was doesn't mean SweetE's will be!!! Alot of women only see a 5 to 10 pound increase in lifts when on var....in fact more than not. Some see less.

I don't know if your var is bunk or not. You haven't really done anything drastic besides going on the anavar to see results.

This is what I really think you should do. Finish this cycle out and then of course wait the approriate amount of time till the next one.

When you are ready for the next one stick with one goal....bulking or gaining. And use anavar!!! I have a feeling your anavar is fine....you just didn't give it the proper chance! Do this for the whole 10-12 weeks and then compare where you were at week 1 and 2 to week 11 and 12! Weight, lifts, side effects, etc.

If at week 6 you are not leaning out or gaining then add or drop more cals. At week 8 if nothing is happening up the var.

By the way.....please don't think I'm upset or mad at all. It comes off that way when typing but I'm not at all. I'm actually very pleased with this thread and cycle. SweetE and Taz have both been very open about their experiences and thoughts. I can guarantee you many lurkers and members have learned alot from your experiences.

We all have different opinions and suggestions...you have to find what works for you and if you make mistakes you will learn from them and so will others.

i agree with Miss Muscle,
this thread has really helped people like me, i'm about to start my first cycle of var within the Month. have been using hgh, and adding var to lean out, and help maintain muscle and energy (45-50hr of work per week with 4-5 days at the gym).
thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge, this makes me a lot more comfortable with starting my first cycle :)

Trust me MM, we BOTH appreciate your input and guidance. Thank you for always responding and trying to work with us on this. It's hard for me to help a women through something like this, because flat out when it comes to the different physics from male to female and AAS im lost... lol.
Alot of my post's, are relaying what she is telling/asking me.... and a little of my own.

We will see what happens with the lower calories within the next week or so. I can notice in E's arms/ shoulders and back a little more definition this week.

Didnt mean to sound like we were rushing to see something, but like I said.... our life is at 100mph right now and think it was coming through my keyboard like that too, lol.

Sorry its been a while We have been working 7 days a week and its hard to get on here..... week 8 seeing a little hardness, still at 20mg ED.. Little acne but nothing bad! Im wondering it my birth control has a lot to do with my slow results.. just wondering! I will be going to the Doc, on Monday the 28th and hopefully I will be off the pills and can get a little boost before I start tapering down.. LOL
I anyone has a comment on the birth control pills please let me know!

Birth can control can affect results but usually not to a great degree. You could be the exception however. There are lots of threads about birth control on here...just search them.

I would say b/c only affects getting really really lean.
