Symptoms of estrogen being too low?

So my Arimidex are 1mg capsules. I've been taking 1mg eod. I have been feeling really bad. Sleeping on the way to work. On break at work. And on the way home from work. Do you think this is being caused by my estrogen being too low? And what are some other symptoms of low estrogen in men? I also take prescription Propecia 1mg every day.

There's why you are sleeping; the Propecia. DHT is the most CNS stimulating form of testosterone....your adrenaline levels are taking a dump and so you have less awareness too.
Estrogen low is also playing a role, but I recommend you stop fucking with your DHT.
aka...Get off the damn Propecia bro ^_^

Just my two cents.

This was good post. I'm having exact same problem on my Test E 500mg/week cycle. I started feeling really great week 2 and beginning of week 3 (high sex drive, good workouts, some typical Test sides like oily skin, bacne, etc). So I Started arimidex about 0.3 to 0.4 eod week 2 because everyone on forums are so adamant about starting arimidex or aromasin right away even though I understand that was not always the recommended protocol (i think protocol back in day was hold of and see if you start having high estrogen sides). Anyways, by end of week 3 totally crashed, lethargic, fatigue, didn't want to get up off floor, poor sense of well being, sex drive started going down. I'm gonna stop Arimidex this week and see what happens. According to a half life calculator i found online, looks like it will take 48-96 hours to clear out of my system based on the dosage i was taking and drug half life. Not sure how long after AI clears out it takes for estrogen to rebound.

With regard to propecia, I started on 1mg/day a week before my cycle and felt fine for at least 3 weeks on propecia. So not sure i agree with the post above about DHT unless it was an extremely delayed reaction (like week 4 on propecia?). I was about 10-14 days on AI when these bad sides occured so i'm inclined to attribute to the AI not DHT issues from Propecia. Although I'm not opposed to stopping Propecia. I only added it as an extra precaution to keep my hair. From what I read Test E is relatively low risk of accelerating MPB. I'm avoiding orals like winstrol that seem to be linked more to accelerating MPB

You won't get rebound from aromasin as it is a suicidal Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and permanently binds to your aromatase. If you are starting to feel better at 12.5mg a day, I'd stay there for a week and see if you continue to feel better. I do recommend getting a blood test though as I've had HIGH E2 when I thought it was low. That's the problem with estrogen in men, the low sides mimic (for the most part) those of high estradiol.

My .02c :)

what i dont get is .... if estro is low and gives you the bloated/water retention look, why do pros nuke their estro before comps? shouldnt it make them look bloated and shit overall ?

Same sides as low T. New study in last couple years popped up and people realizing that low estrogen or more specifically estradiol causes the same symptoms as low t.

I looked real quick couldn't find it, don't know where I put it but its out there.

Low estrogen does not make one e look bloated or hold water. That is not what Halfwit was saying.

Yes, this makes sense. Most don't realize that many of testosterone's effects are the testosterone itself, but it's metabolites, I.E. Estradiol and DHT.

I never stated that low estradiol causes bloat. However high cortisol and sodium can hide low estradiol in that facet.

Propecia is an ANTI-ANDROGEN, it is intended to disrupt the cleaving of testosterone to DHT, but also disrupts the HPTA in general. What that has to necessarily do with tren is beyond me in this context. :wiggle:

bullseye forever also said he holds water with with low estrogen, im not basing this on what halfwit said, alot of people say low estro is the same as high estro ... what do you think mega??

I think you should listen to Halfwit.

I appreciate the support, but I do know Bullseye, and he is a knowledgeable guy. I just wonder if there's something else going on with him. I'd have to touch base and see the specifics, although I do know that low estradiol can mess with adrenals - leading to high cortisol.

I had some experience with low E levels while working out my adex dosage on trt. I did get alot of bloat, but just in the belly. HArd to say if it was food related, or water retention.
My most notable side effect was anxiety.. I got it while public speaking and while doing adrenaline type sport activities. After getting dialed in, no more being a big puss.

lol good ol mega

why do pros nuke their estro before comps when according to common forum folklore - crashing your estro will cause bloat and water retention ... have we solved something big @ology?;) lol

Can you show me that this is indeed common forum folklore? I don't recall seeing many guys suggesting this.
