T3 use and hyperparathyroidism... any connection??

My dr just found today i have hyperparathyroidism and thats causing hypercalcemia. The symptoms from elevated calcium are killing me, I've been feeling like crap for a while now so I'm glad something was finally found.

Does anyone know if this could have been caused from prolonged T3 use? I would use it for excessive amounts of time (6+months) and my thyroid always went back to normal ranges after. I never exceeded 50mcg.

prolonged t3 use would cause hypothyroidism if anything. the only time you would be hyper, is when you are on t3. that's odd...
