How do you heavy lifters deal with it and what besides HGH have you taken to offset collagen degradation?

Any thoughts on different AAS , vitamins and minerals?

How about specific foods ?

Dealing with tendinitis in my Elbows . Sucks bro. I've heard var helps collagen but the only real cure is just quit aggravating the injury, stop lifting or as often anyway.

Going to try soaking area in Ice water today

I normally blast with deca. But I am trying primo 1st time and no deca. So I am noticing some knee issues...deca seems to help that's for sure!

2nd with primo but 250 mg wk deca too just for joint lube, if you will. Psl is sending me some ment that I'll be swapping out for the sust. It'll be trial and error as ment is pretty new, and I've never used it. I'll start with 50 mg eod to start. I've heard it spikes e2, so I'll see how it affects me.

I try massaging by elbow with opposing thumb. It works some. Another huge mofo at the gym I frequent says to inj deca right into the joint( tendon) that's affected. Haven't summoned the cojones to do that yet

I hope to try ment next year. Keep us posted on it please!

I think the needle entering the tendon would do more harm than good....

Epsom salt s water soaking help s me. Not aggravating injurie s is key but arthritis is here to stay.
It s my understanding DECA help s by keeping soft tissue s infused with water there by enhancing both the elasticity AND padding of same.

I know it s unconventional but high e2 not sky high what w the water retention seem s to assist in much the same way but more as a lubricating agent.

I ain t no HUGE MO FO at no one s gym but am usually one of the most screwed together, plated and fused and tho I ve succumbed to MANY cortisone shot AND my ortho and I are pal s I AINT NEVER HEARD OF A DIRECT inject of a AAS to relieve inflammation but cortico steroids yes. Apple s and oranges bro.
Nothing to do with cojones ur just smarter than that...big... dumb ... fucker.

It is said that Deca ads to joint lubrication and increases bone mineral content and enhancing collagen synthesis. This is not done by injecting into the joint or tendon itself. The cortisone injections done that way are of different anti-inflammation qualifies and are done in a way to attack all the tissues it touches.

I can tell you first hand that all you will do is cause yourself more pain if you inject Deca or anything else straight into a tendon /joint.

Forget that idea ...

Didn't make sense to me. I heard it second hand so maybe the guy that told me heard him wrong

That's where my old age and common sense trumps youth and optimism.

Simple fix most of the time graston or using a hard roller like the pain pill can fix it. Most of the time its just little fibers that get stuck to the muscle and needs to be broken up. If i dont have money for the therapy it sucks bad i jist have to work through it i dont have a choice of not aggrevating it.

If it's inflamation causing the pain I've found naproxen at 550 x2/day really knocks it out. Ibuprofen does nothing for me. Sometimes it's just growing pain though. I swear when I'm growing fast I just have weird nerve related pains that I can't seem to do anything about.

Ya know back 4 years ago I was suffering from such tendonitis and epicondylitis I could almost wanna cut my limb off.... I was living on a script of 800 mgs Ibuprofen 3 times a day and then 1 hr before arm day I would load up 600mgs of Ibuprofen .

IT took care of the pain however I was also killing my kidneys at the same time. It finally went away ???

I was taking it mostly for a couple of smashed discs in my lower back. I got a series of epidural shots that finally smoothed it out enough to let me finish them off with a Percocet and whiskey preworkout. Seems they've finally dried up enough I can get back to squatting and deadlifting heavy. I still keep the naproxen script going though as they really help with my occasional odd pains.

ETA: I have had some questionable kidney function tests in the past. Now I wonder if maybe that's related. Off to google that one...

most LORTAB S AND VICODAN PILL S ARE CUT W UP TO 500 MG S ACETEMIACIN . The FDA say s 4 gram s is max dailey intake of acet w relation to liver or kidney or 8 lt s a day which when I was rolling was just a real fun afternoon needing 2 to get out of bed.
I oft say " I do not take anything w relation to my lifting. " No sup s other than food gear and I mean it. (Supp industry is crap. If it s over the counter it s CRAP ) Eat food, lots and good food , try and fuck/jerk often 2 a day s, and then sleep and then train and repeat lads.
No pre workout crap w Niacin to dialate or caffeine to rev my nitrous infused hpta, instead coffee x 3 cig s x 2 . No whey protein, amino s etc. NOTHING. FOOD.
For pain I use an oft forgotten pain pill formulated from Birch tree bark in the late 1870 s by a man named Bayer found in Southern Bavaria called ASPIRIN and or B C powders. I got them stashed tactically everywhere and although never abuse them it appears having them near provide s me some relieve. I m all about placebo.
Training smarter is key to avoid excruciating pain for me-
----I m a pwlftr at heart but to long limbed and/or old to be serious. I squat 2 a month and do OTHER leg movement s the other 2 or 3 w o s so as to not aggravate the screws in my titanium knee or fused l4 and 5. 425 x 3 x 3 set s now.
Flat bench same. It FUCKS my good shoulder up as the left one has the bicep tied off on a pin. Now my good shoulder s wearing out so flat bench is a 2 a month thaing too. 225 x 17-21 yesteray or on heavy day , last week 305 x 6 paused x 3 set s. Bi s ? 60 pd dumbbell s for 8 perfecto reps but again. ONLY 2 a month then iso movement s and time to heal which I m o is where AAS really shine.
Train smarter young buck s. The man in the mirror is my only competition MY 10 yr old is my longevity MOTIVATING goal and the rest- MERELY a side effect.

By the way

Brother if you start getting soreness/numbness..or shooting pain..around the elbows and forearm start icing it right away and stay away from whatever exercises make it worse. I've had it in both arms and particularly around the small bone on the outside of the elbow(I'm told it's called golfers elbow if on the outside, and tennis elbow on the inside), and it crept into my lower bicep. Talked to a Doctor about it and he said there is little you can do about it. Maybe lighten up the weights and ice it as much as possible. He agreed with me that rest does not help this area very much. I've heard of them injecting cortisone in between ligaments and such but it is only a temporary relief. Also, they will only do the same area two or three times a year.
I had to pretty much eliminate bicep work, except for maybe some machine preacher curls with light weight. It makes it very difficult for any heavy back exercises as well, but working through it was the Doctors advice, which I have to say, I appreciate him being straight forward instead of the usual time off and pills of some kind most of them suggest. My 2 cents. Good luck.

Man I had the same things you did in regards to epidural shots and percocets, which lead me on a four year addiction battle with the Percs. Haven't touched them in five or six years, can't even remember now. I do remember quitting cold turkey and thinking I wanted to die the withdrawal was so bad. I wouldn't touch those fuckers for anything. Strangely enough, I had the epidural shots for a groin injury that wouldn't heal. Ibuprofen regularly does help that tendinitis a little bit in my experience, but who the fuck needs more pills right? Not me.

HARNOLD !!!

Slumming dude ?
I ll shoot u a pm soon..sunburned it was so bright today and it s Feb lol. Getting stuff squared for Mardi Gras parades.

I hate pain pills. I still take the naproxen, but that's it. The epidural shots were a godsend and I'm very thankful they worked and got me off the other garbage.
