I posted this before but could never find the thread again never found and answer. Okay my problem is I'm on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) treatment using gels been good so far however I'm now experiencing a very low sex drive (libido) for about a month now. Has anyone ever had this problem and if yes how did you fix it? did you go on an estrogen blocker or also known as an a1 did you up your dose? or did you lower the dose. Please help this really sucks right now.

another ? can anyone explain to me the difference between testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and an actual cycle. what I'm trying to say is, I have read threads of guys taking testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 300mg's a week that would be a steroid cycle for a beginner or a fisrt time steroid cycle. you are certainly going to shut your natty test production down. You would have to do some kind of post cycle therapy (pct) or something wouldn't you.

You should be on an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) my guess is that you are converting most of the test you absorb to E2 or Transdermals work well for some at first and then for some reason they just stop absorbing them. 300mg is not a cycle everyone metabolizes things differently even testosterone. With any doseage of Exo test you are shutting down your own natty test.

Thanks RAILRIDER for your reply I kind of thought that might be the problem. But it is nice to hear it from others you know.

I use to run cycles like sten and test (e) when I use to compete in bodybuilding shows that is why my DR thinks my T is low now that I'm in my late 30's. But No one ever talked about estrogen blockers only if your cycle lasted eight weeks take off eight weeks. Wow things have changed unfortunately I can not get stuff like clomid and nova I have to result to getting dim plus I have used it in the past I will get some today after work.

Another thing I did not mention and I was an idiot for doing it. was that I uped my dose considerbly and four weeks later got blood drawn my test ng was 3,660 my DR was not happy, took me off for a month last checked was ng550. But I never had such a low libido before my wife is not happy.

You could have a one million test level and if your estrogen is high and or shbg is high you could still have no libido and feel like a woman. Gels stop working for good reasons.

so you think an a1 will help I have lowered my dose alot since then. I'm also looking into the best legal estrogen blocker I can get my hands on. I did ask my Dr about checking my estrogen he just looked at funny the same when I asked for an estrogen blood test I have not mentioned Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) yet, they give you this stuff and say well have fun see you soon, make sure you have your co-pay ready on the way out thank you.

Get a new doc unless you enjoy feeling like shit with small balls playing these kinds of games with docs that won't treat you properly. Chip is the best at Maximus and cheap as hell. There are serious side effects to elevated estrogen over time. Namely heart attacks..diabates...etc. Gels elevate estrogen on contact by virtue of the high presence of aromatase enzyme in the skin which converts T to Estrogen.

Dude you should not waste your time with this Dr. and you should really do some up to date education on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for your own benefit so you understand the variables. A good book that helped me understand things alot was THE TESTOSTERONE SYNDROME BY DR. SHIPPEN. it will cost you less than $20. I spent 10yrs with multipule Dr's like yours and it caused me more harm than what I started with. I got so frustrated with paying someone else to fuck me up. The money wasted is one thing but the day's of my life wasted feeling like shit are another. MAXIMUS HRT IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET PROPER TREATMENT/FOR A LOW COST.

Okay guys I went and purchased the only thing I know that is cheap does not last long but does work, you just got to take alot of it (dim plus). I did go to maximushrt I did fill out that health question form but I did not get a comfirmation from email. I tried calling also but Chips voice mail said just fill out the form so I did. Does he take health insurance like blue cross. I will look into that book you were talking about.

I did not know that the T gels cause such a spike in estrogen. I feel like an ass I have about six guys at work I talked into going to my doctor for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) most have gone to the injections. Not all just a few should I raise my dose a little since now I have something to help with the estrogen? thanks for all your replys very helpful, nice tattoo dude

DIM is worthless, trust me I've tried it. Yeah send them all to Chip. You should get a reply if you put in the right email and Chip usually gets back to people in 24 hrs. Nothing really you can do until you get a real estrogen blocker and off the gel. I'm not even sure an estrogen blocker would work with gel since it hits the tissues (though I don't know). In any event yes I've tried gel and felt like a menopausal woman on it before I got the real doc. When you get with Chip you will feel 100x the best you felt on gel all the time. He doesn't take insurance but he is ridiculously cheap, definitely the cheapest.

PJG, your doctor is an idiot. Don't be upset, most of them are. I cannot see why your doctor would start you on gel and then take you off for a month. What a hormonal rollercoaster. I still can't even comprehend why they are so big on gel as well. Horrible stuff! I went to 4 doctors before I finally talked to Chip. Best decision I have made. Remember, most docs will go off PDR's (pre-determined ranges) and not how you feel. What matters to Chip is that you feel good and you are healthy. Don't worry, this can be fixed! Best of luck!!

Brother im on 300mg test cyp/week testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose,high,yes,also my estrogen is in check and all my other blood test came back within normal range,im 45 and my sex drive libdo is dead,i mean zero,ive since gotten an appt with 2 different endos,my first one tried to fuck me with my dose and would presrcribe an ai,so i got one myself and got my estrogen down to normal,i feel better,but my libido and sex drive is non existent,i dont know why,or what to do about it,ive had every test run,and all were normal,im just about to give up,and i hope you get better my friend,i know how you are feeling right now though,i didnt post this to scare you,but its just my experience,im glad you posted this thread,cause i was going to post something like it as well

Bullseye, what is your SHBG at? What ester are you using? Obviously you aren't on with Chip or you'd be doing good.

im using test cyp,i will call my GP today and get my SHBG levels,i did think of something though,when my estrogen was high,i was using aromasin at 25mg/ed,when it came down,it was 12pg/ml,very low,and im still using aromasin at 12.5 mg ed,i may need to stop using it for a while and see what happens,i would like to go with chip,but my insurance wont cover him,it does however covers all my doctors,which hadnt worked so far,may have to save up and go with chip

You know they talk alot about Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) on this site. Not sure if you ever posted anything on Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) but I have read alot of your threads.Try and get some of that it would be out of pocket $. It helps get your boys working again. You know it and I know it you are completely shut down and that it was has happened to me.

cjw2021 told me does not matter how high your test is if your estrogen is to high your libido will be low, and vice versa I guess must be some sweet spot or a magic estrogen # you must reach for everything to work normal.

I cut back on my dose the last couple of days started over the counter a1 that many say is shit,b but I did wake up with an erection this moring so that is a good sign.

You said your were glad I posted this thread, well I think alot more guys out their had or are having this same problem as we speak.

As soon as I can I will be ordering some Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) going to use it in small doses and trying to find a good estrogen inhibitor. But Got to find that sweet spot for estrogen. I'm trying to get back into competing again off to a slow start I can tell you that.

yea i know what your saying man,i started taking aromasin at 25mg/ed on april 20th and took it for 2 weeks and got my E down,but it is too low now,but ive continued to take it but at 12.5mg ed,so im going to quit taking it for a while and see what happens,it might be my problem,my estrogen being too low

Man this hormone thing has got me stressed out. So much to learn do you ever go off the gear or are you always on it. Right now I'm at such a low dose it's not funny but I got to get to the bottom of this. I'm by Hoping lowering my dose taking that over the counter a1 might get my estrogen down or become stable. I will then go see the doc one more time. if he does not talked to me about Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and estrogen blockers I will also have to save and call Chip

WHOM EVER SAID THAT 300MG/WK OF TEST IS A CYCLE? THE SAME DOCTOR THAT PUT YOU IN THIS PRE-DICK-AMENT BY PUTTING YOU ON GELS BECAUSE HE/SHE ARE TO UNEDUCATED TO PROPERLY ADMINISTER THERAPY SO THAT THAT YOU CAN FUNCTION LIKE A HUMAN BEING, PLAY WITH A FULL SACK OF BALLS, AND BE ABLE TO DROP THUNDER WITH A ROCK HARD DICK. Hello sir WOW it didn't take long to get your attention, your quite on the ball no pun intended. Well it is nice to hear from you I would love to get on board with you. The problem is your company does not except my health ins.

What I ment by taking 300mgs a week is that the other forms guys are saying they are taking 300-350-500mgs a week test E and then they go into explaining the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) during and the post cycle therapy (pct) after. Thats all I was asking. I have been on the gels for three + yrs this last four weeks has been the worst ever even before treatment. Like I said I would love to be a member of MAXIMUSHRT. I hear nothing but great things about you, although I make a good living, financees are a little tight right now, my health ins helps me alot. If you could give me a little info on monthly expence not in great detail but some idea. This way I'm not waisting your time and filling out forms if I really can't afford it right now, maybe a month from now who knows.
