The best Calf exercise in my opinion! Iv'e never been as sore!

I'm not a bodybuilder!
As simple as this! 4 sets of 30 reps on the leg press but of course we are doing calfs you know what to do, for 10 reps, point toes inwards on a 45 degree angle, then 10 normal straight foot position and then 10 reps with toes pointing outwards! Don't forget to hold the squeeze at the top for a second on each!

I don't know how many of you already do this number of reps with he different foot angles but WAW! it works!

My calfs are pretty nice for my size. All I do usually is 5x8 Barbell Calf Raise's, 4x8 very heavy with the 5th set being light. And when I do my stretches I do 30 calf raises both feet, then do 30 calf raises with one footed calf raises, of course then switching to other leg and doing 30. Blown the fuck up for sure, do it twice a week.
 
If your comfortable with ur sexuality then do donkey calf raise. Bend over and have ur buddy stradle ur back. It works like magic
 
look I know loads do high reps, yeah 30 reps! But here I'm trying to get at the "Foot Positions" Just give it a try! I feel more sore on them than usual. If you already do it then fine. I'm just tryna help

cool. I was not implying a full "workout" I was talking about one single exercise, do you do the different foot positions? just curious bro? feels different for me as I'm pretty new to them.

Spiderpig, you pretty much just described what I do for calves - I get on the leg press machine and just do calf raises with my toes inverted and hold at the top of the range. If you can place your toes on the edge of the platform you can run them as negatives too, which builds up your soleus and tibialis muscles (front of shins and sides of calves).

I just do calfs 2 days a week with my other stuff. Monday with chest/tri and Thurs with legs. Footing wise, never really have a position for them just do it where my feet takes me hah.

High reps is definitely best for growth and shape for me. If it's hard to walk the next few days...mission accomplished.
