muscle tears

first cycle at 21, i was lucky, didnt tear anything although i got close to tearing a quad while doing leg press(stacked out with a person sitting on it)

2nd cycle at 28, tore my calf sprinting, no doubt its my fault as i wasnt used to running let alone sprinting, but the fact that it happened is scary

3rd cycle, 2 months ago, tore my pec during post cycle therapy (pct), wasnt usuing an unusual weight for myself, it didnt feel extra heavy, i felt strong and it came out of no where

sad part is, it seems like i locked odwn my hcg and post cycle therapy (pct) to where there was no emotional sides coming off(minus one night)

never thought muscle tears would be the side effect that would end it

That's pretty bad. I've been lucky and in 9 years of use have never had one. A friend had a complete pec tear awhile back but I dont think he was on and he was only benching around 365 which is not heavy for him.

I've been doing more stretching and warm ups. Hopefully it will help.

How are you doing 5x10? Are you healing well?
 
i am currently recovering from a tear in my shoulder (labrum) it's 8 months since surgery and i am now considering starting my first cycle as soon as i hit month 9. My only hesitation is i might tear something.

How common of a problem is this and what do people do to prevent it?
 
That's pretty bad. I've been lucky and in 9 years of use have never had one. A friend had a complete pec tear awhile back but I dont think he was on and he was only benching around 365 which is not heavy for him.

yeah, its pretty pain free
just feels weird when benching, i just did the bar, about half range

How common of a problem is this and what do people do to prevent it?
i guess just making sure u thouroughly warm up

yeah sorry to hear it man I know you were getting back into power lifting, might just want to go for looks now. gl on ur healing don't jump back in to quick. with that said I did tear my qaud at least partially playing ha football and didn't even know it. played the whole season with my qauds killing me. I just thought it was pulled. I have gained all strength back just looks deformed? is this how u healed previusly?

and super make sure ur careful and get ur shoulder checked out completely before going heavy. I had labrum repair in 2003 and have two torn labrums again. however each person is different my doctor told me I may have a genetic anamoly or mild case of extreme flexability. I just know once mine jacked up they have never been the same. there functional but not like it used to be at certain angles. gl

hate to hear about injuries on here but I guess u can call it a side effect of working out. hope u all stay healthy.

I saw your post about this. I didn't say anything but it really set me aside and made me think about the dangers of heavey weight training... Even tho it wasn't what you considered to be heavy.

4 years ago I was pressing 6 plates when it fell on my neck. I was nearly alone in the gym at 5am. Stupid thing I did by putting the clamps on with that much weight. 2 young guys could barely get it off me and I never pressed 6 plates again. I could have broke my neck that day...

12 years of steroids with only the basic knowledge. When I say it like that I get the chills... Life goes by fast waiting to run your next cycle. I run really big cycles.... 20 weeks plus and post cycle therapy (pct) is always a bitch.

Talk about sides:

Only this year I discovered all these new compounds. I was a stright up test, deca, tren, dbol guy before this... Now I got NPP, EQ, Prop, Mast and a whole list of others I plan to try. Meanwhile, my lady is saying get off the gear.. I'm going to lose her if I don't. Just when the story gets good, she wants to change the channel...

So here we go, round and round again...
I need to buy enough time to try out this great stuff and still make my woman happy.
This is reality.. I got to come off or she will go. She doesn't have a poker face. When she says something I can take it to the bank.

I'm trying to set myself up with a weight I can manage without AAS.
Today I'm sitting at 185lbs. Down from 195lbs leaner than before and I'm seeing the potential for much more... It's so late in the game for me to see how this works !

I'm no bigger or stronger than I was 12 years ago... I'm better looking but that's about it ;)

At the end of the day, I would suggest that every man use steroids in a proper mind set and age.. If you or someone you love can get past the idea that it's a drug, then you are good to go...

I hope you heal up well and do what you feel is right for you... ;)
 
Are you running high test? Test messes my back up from the decreased collagen synthesis. Matter of fact if this Tren works out for me all my cycles from now on will be Equi for joints/quality muscle, Tren, and HCG.

it is and man, i love going heavy when juiced up. its half the fun(other half being the sex, ok the sex is probably 75% of the fun :))

thanks man, good luck with you and your girl too, as long as its not effecting your relationship, it shouldnt be an issue(at least imo)

500mgs of test week 1-8
300 test 200 dbol week 9-12

even reading these post makes me consider another cycle, maybe i can add deca to increase collagen, even got a little excited, then i realized i was running deca the first 2 cycles and it happened
damned if u do and damned if u dont

on a side note, tried cialis for the first time as its been taking longer than normal to get to full attention, that stuff is awesome!

well i had surgery on mine in january of this year and im starting a cycle in sept or october,its a bitch for sure.Just be carfeul
 
I'm actually waiting for an mri now, scheduled for next month to have one done. I know I tore something in my shoulder, just need to find out what and how bad. Sure is some painful shit sometimes, that's for sure. Can't even sleep on it some nights.

Is that what they mean when they say, "no pain no gain"? lol
