to much work to train legs?

i love doing legs.. they are the only muscle group i do twice a week.. i need to change up my routine though as my legs are like rubber durring the week and it makes it tough to play rugby with rubber legs.. i think i might try the higher reps routine, maybe that will get me where i need athletic wise

Oh look, another monkey with a keyboard.

well youre jocking the OP for not using caps and punctuation and saying that its on the same basis as being too lazy. SO i CSI'ed it and figured out you must not be a squatter and youre sticking up for the stick leg nation. sorry if i was wrong

:wackit:

I can't squat. :( Fate dealt me a cruel hand and gave me Kyphosis. So I have to stick to being inventive with leg presses and hack squats. But in my defense, read up on what Dorian Yates has to say about squatting vs. Leg pressing.

kyphosis. curvature of the spine. sorry to here that bro. i guess not putting caps at the beginning of my sentences isnt such a big deal afterall. leg presses n hack squats are excellent leg exercises. after squatting i go straight to the leg press. love grinding them out. good luck with your training. and ill try harder from now on and not confuse you with no caps. ill really try....peace

Well, I wasn't talking about you specifically, bro. I was trying to make a point about teens being lazy these days. I think its all related to cellphone usage. :eyepoke:

Cellphones and playstations..lol. Your right about that. Just a lazy society we have now. The obesity rate is through the roof around the world with no end in sight. A damn shame. My doc said its at epidemic levels. When i was growing up there was nothing to keep us in the house. As soon as we woke up we were out playing sports

That's really my whole motivation to train. In 20 years when everyone else is obese, we will be worshipped for our bodies.

What drives me nuts, more than stick legs, are the kids that can't stay away from the curl bar. No matter what bodypart they work, they have to do biceps. These kids are constantly in the mirror admiring their 14 inch guns!
:freak:

Agreed. Plus, if you're doing it right, you really don't have to do THAT much direct biceps work.

very true oak. training legs also seperates the men from the boys. the ones that are truely in there for the sport. a TOTAL body workout is the only way to train. on a positive note we have 1 kid in my gym, man this kid works his legs. and he trains hard in all bodyparts. not a big guy by any means, but well proportioned. and to me thats what its all about

Marine Recon = Badass

Lol. You recon? Where you live?

Retired now gixxer. 24 years. 1st 8 were with an infantry unit. The rest with a recon unit. i live in nyc now
