Hello from down under AUSSIE land
I just joined here and enjoying the huge info thats here ok lets get straight to the point i am 49 years old and have been training pretty consistantly for about 30 years god time flys with no serious injury I am still enjoying my workouts i train 3 to 4 days a week on the basics movements and happy with as far as my traning goes my diets not to bad but probably needs improving probably not alone there either current stats

6 foot 1
180 pounds
b/f not sure but my abs are visible may be 14/15 percent

Of course i have reached my pontenial training naturally and thinking seriously about taking the gear do you think this is a good idea at my age ? of course i will get a full medical check up before i would start a cycle i would love to hear from the people around my age taking the gear

If anything you are in the age group where testosterone supplementation really has some fantastic benefits both for your health and quality of life. I turned 48 this past summer and while I'm no longer doing 1 rep max's I easily look 10 years younger than my actual age and feel 20 years younger.
I do limit myself to 1-2 cycles per year now and try to keep my dosages as low as possible.

Be responsible and remember that less is better. be religious about getting your blood work done. Under a doctors supervision you should be fine. Feel free to shoot me a PM anytime, from one old war horse to another :beertoast
 
Going on a Test Cycle

Hi there! Zeek you seem to know what you are doing. I am 37 years old and am going on a Test Cyp cycle for 10 weeks, then taking a break for about 2 weeks and start again another Test Cyp for 3 months, followed by another 3 months of Test Prop.

Now do you think it would be wise for me to start Test Cyp at 400mg/week? I am really not looking to get massive! I was researching through the boards and some suggested loading Test Cyp for the first two weeks at 500mgs and then lowering to 200 or 100 the rest of the weeks.

I will add Arimedex ED at 0.5mg to avoid excessive estrogen.

What do you think? Any help would be appreciated!

First of all, its rude to hijack someone elses thread. Start your own. Second...this plan of yours is horrendous. Don't ever do that. 12 weeks of test cyp at 500mg a week is all you need. You need to pct after that to restore your natty test production. Running gear for that long makes it likely that you will end up on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for life. Don't be stupid.

Never too old, get your blood work done, all in moderation. Testosterone is a beautiful thing. LOVE PROP.:D Enjoy.

im also 49 been lifting for 30 yrs. since 94 ive averaged a cycle every 3 yrs. low dose test mostly after5 yrs w/ no help i started 600mg test w/ 400mg deca. week 10 my shoulder pain is virtually gone,intensity at the gym is great, and im chasin the little lady around the house daily. this was goin to be a fairwell blast but i dont think so tim. so i say go for it .
