Topicals and DHT

Cashout if a guy did use duta and didn't have any of the above symptoms could you get away with dosing every third day or is it still to strong and pointless. I have a bunch of it left over and have switched to fina after our previous conversations but I'm trying to decide if I should trash what I have left, 8 bottles, or I have a friend who wants to use it for the same reason and I'm not so sure I should be giving it to him either. Any recommendation on a safer way to use it, safer meaning not killing dht levels too much??

No more than .5 mg EOD is fine. Any thing more would be like using a sledgehammer to drive in a thumb tack.

At .5 mg EOD, you'll build up a stable blood level in about 30 days and that level should be more than enough to reduce systemic DHT (both type I and II) by about 60-70%.

I'm not a big fan of reducing type II unless it is really necessary b/c its receptors are primarily in striated muscle tissue and not in the follicles.

If you start knocking out too much Type II isoenzyme of DHT, you are going to see a dip in your strength. Most folks wouldn't like that one bit.

But at .5 mg EOD you will definitely stave off any androgen induced hair loss.

Thanks cash, that's all I need to hear. Always appreciate you insight.

Dedication you can purchase it at RUI I believe and most of the research chem companies. I've been using from one of them for several months.

Also Is there any safe online sites that I could purchase this stuff for a good price rather than going to a doctor? were having some doctor problems :(

going to see a doctor to get a script for finasteride is so much easier than you think!
just call in to schedule an appointment, and when/if they ask you what for, tell them you want to discuss propecia with your doctor.
say that you have noticed you have a receding hairline or noticed some thinning out in recent years. then tell him/her how you say a commercial about propecia (or a magazine advertisement). Say you would like to try using it.
ALSO tell them that you have tried topical minoxidil for approximately 1 year before considering using propecia. Minoxidil doesn't work in everyone, and it can take some time to work in patients, but docs like to see that you have tried alternative means first before they give you a script.

It's cool. I've seen 10 and 15% minoxidoil but I've heard you won't be able to absorb it after a certain point. I'm going to see if I could get Rogaine for any cheaper price.

Yeah I've worked too hard for my strength and a lot of times I don't gain strength. It's really hard for me to gain strength, which is very homo.

I have A LOT of hair but I am also prone to MPB, well I believe I am, so would you just recommend fina? I've also have gotten a good amount of hair products from wholesalehairproducts...do you think I should return them and just get rogaine and fina? They cost me about $96 with shipping and tax.

Thanks for all the help bro.

Yup - monox has an upper bound of usefulness. Beyond 2 applications a day and about 5% concentration there where no additional improvements in hair count amonf those that were subjects in the very well controlled studies.

As I have said many times on here before, I never say something is "junk" or won't work. There are so many things out there that have not been studied in well controlled tests that we really just don't know.

My rule is FIRST, always go with what has demonstrated to be effective through clinical testing. That is the best bang for your buck.

Then play around with the other stuff to see what it does for you.

So, if it were my money, I would get the $96 bucks back and spend it on an office visit and a script for fina.

Just got back from the doctor today...

He said using Propecia at 23 would suppress testosterone levels, so he wouldn't write a script

also if anyone cares, i'm in immaculate health.

only read the frist page... ive killed this topic to death on other forums but heres the deal... if youre serious about slowing your hair loss... frist you have to give up everything except test only cycles... and you either have to get on finasteride, or dutersteride.... dtuer being the better of the two IMO. that will slow the hair loss if you do moderate cycles, ie not going over a 800mg of test. this will only slow the process. if your gonig bald, its going to eventually happen
