Total Estrogen over 900!?

I have a good friend who's been on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for a couple years and recently had a blood test done with shocking results.

Total Test - over 1500
E2 sensitive - 26
Estriol - 0
Total Estrogen - 908

Is this even possible?

He's taking 200mg Cyp e5d, 3 ius HGH ED, and 3mg a week of Adex. He's in his late 20s, 6', 230 lbs, 15% BF.

Clearly his dose of test is too high, but WTF is with that total estrogen?

I am LittleJohnny's friend with the E1 problem. I am hoping Letrozole will solve this problem. The adex is straight from my pharmacy so there is no question it is good. I have tried DIM and calcium d glucarate which have offered me no symptomatic improvements.

I just want to stress the importance in testing E1, E2, and E3 in men. I don't know where anyone got the idea that only E2 should be tested. Had I been testing E1 all along since the start of my therapy two years ago I probably would be feeling much better. Hopefully letro does the trick. If it doesn't result in symptomatic improvement I will retest estrone and total estrogens to decide if other molecules like xenoestrogens are somehow being totaled up here which would imply some sort of detoxification defect. The high E1 low E2 phenomenon on Adex I have seen mentioned by others, granted not to this degree.

But your E2 looks fine. How are your going to lower one and not affect the other? My understanding is that E2 is the harmful form of estrogen. What are the ill-effects from having elevated E1? I've never tested mine so I am curious.

I'd get another test man. Estrone and Estriol are far less potent than Estradiol, but I don't know how you can have an estriol of 0, an estradiol of 26, but a total estrogen count in the 900's. I'm assuming this is the first time you've seen results like this? Good thing it wasn't E2 at 900pg/dL - you'd have your very own set of C-cups.
