Totally freaked out right now about Nebido

I guarantee you that more people die in a given year from aspirin than from nebido or any other testosterone injection. Did you read that warning list I showed you for aspirin?

T gels do raise my T but not enough. But they raise my DHT way too high which causes the hair loss.

Last time my T was at 16nmol/l which is okay, but I didnt really feel much better. So I considered that I need more T.
My E2 however wasnt abnormal it was at 22. The issue is I cannot increase the gel anymore this would raise the DHT even higher and cause
more hair loss and probably prostate issues.

My "normal T levels" have been borderline low since age 20. I am skinny fat and have always been very weak and I lack at least 40lbs muscle mass in order to
look healthy. My lowest ever was 8nmol/l in the morning. My LH is also usually low. Why my LH is low is unknown. Pit MRI was normal. Unfortunately HCG and stuff
like that is NOT used in Europe. I asked my doc about it. He said HCG is too expensive and I'd have to inject it daily.

I do NOT have access to AIs. AIs are not used in HRT in men here in Europe. I even called pharma companies who sell T gels and injections and asked them what
do you do if the E2 gets too high under TRT and the doctors said that there is nothing you can do about it!

The only way to get on an AI would be to illegally buy it.

My doc told me that hematocrit will be supervised while under TRT. He didn't tell me what he wants to do if it gets too high.

Sounds like you're in the UK judging by your course of treatment reff...?

I'm not going to go all technical for you, but all I can say is that they moved me from Sustanon (weekly injects) to Nebido (monthly injects) over a year ago - it's totally changed my life!

I know of some Nebido takers who only have to inject as little as every 12 weeks to achieve steady state T levels within range. Personally this didn't work for me and fortunately my endo has allowed me to inject at home with the help of my wife and my monthly protocol now means my levels remain at the top end of the scale.

Nebido has little to no pip (pain after injection) and I have never once had any difficulties with or after the injection. It is essential that someone does it for you as the injection needs to be done slowly over 3/4 mins to allow the large volume (1000mg/4ml) a chance to disperse. So if you're anxious about it, your district nurse would be able to administer it for you.

My doc explained to me that because Nebido treatment involves much less peaks and troughs and the steady state period is longer, E2 levels do not fluctuate, I have had no E2 issues on my treatment.

Like I said, Nebido has been a life changer, for me and my family, I strongly suggest you get over your fears and try to look at the positives that may come out of this treatment.

Good luck!

Damn, I forgot that you were on Nebido Ben! Glad to have someone in here with actual experience using it. I am surprised that E2 doesn't fluctuate at all, but given the lack of spikes - it's understandable.

Yeah, I must admit, I was skeptical at first, I couldn't get my head around the fact that one simple injection over such a long period of time would make much of a difference. I spoke to Austinite about it, and that guy knows his sh*t!

A friend of his was currently using it and only pinned twice a year! He said Nebido was a fantastic form of treatment, but ridiculously expensive... which surprises me as to why the UK NHS (National Health Service) has taken it on over Sustanon.

I get my meds free here on the NHS, so to be given Nebido, I consider myself extremely fortunate!
