Yup, i saw that too. Look at the weight his supposed speed pulls go up to though, with band tension.

Let me be honest! I am new to this board, and I come at things slightly different then say Westside, but pretty much the same template. I speed pull every week 6-8 sets of 1, and I always use doubled mini bands. I do speed pulls after speed box squats. I always start with around 50% (800 max X 50%=400)plus bands, and finish with between 75% and 80% plus bands. Every other week, I then take the bands off and put the plates on a box to where the bar is approximately 5 inches below my knees, and then I pull two more singles between 90-105%. I also alternate my speed squats in a similar way, so that I am going lighter squats on the day I do heavier DLs.

640 with doubled minis is not 50-60% or what i see recommended for speed deads.

i agree lol
i think thats why so many get confused about WSB

how many times do you read a squat article how your never supposed to squat without the box or with knee wraps even before a comp..well guess what on chucks vid he gets suited up and maxes on a box with straps up, knee wraps etc..then goes to reg free squats without the box lol...should we be copying chuck and travis? NO but people need to remember that WSB is about doing what works for you and not following everything to the letter
