I am currently starting TRT and also have sinus polyps which my ENT doc wants to remove by surgery. I always had a feeling that the polyps being inflamed is a cause of a low hormone of some sort. So my question all of you is have any of you had polys and then have them go away after starting a TRT program or after using Test on your own ?

The best I can do, and it's quite a stretch, is to relate hypogonadism to the growth of polyps in that testosterone decreases inflammation in the body. It's pretty thin of a connection, but I suppose it's possible?

I doubt TRT will reverse the growths though.

I had the surgery 10 yrs ago. did not last long. since then smell and taste have been greatly diminished. Asthma and polys came on fast over ten yrs ago. Doc mentioned in my consult about TRT that men with low T are prone to have asthma. So I thought that maybe there was a link. I do have surgery scheduled and just started TRT. The reason I think it is hormone related is that when I exercise the polys reduce and I can breath. So I know the body release hormones and antihistamines during exercise. So if the symptoms came on quickly than something changed in my body. That's my 2 cents.
