Two questions heading into PCT

My PCT officially begins two weeks and a half weeks. The cycle was a simple Test E 500 mg/week.

Couple of questions though.

First, I increased my protein intake from pre cycle. Prior to cycling it was 1.5g/lb of body weight. On cycle, and still, I am aiming for 1.75-2 g/lb of body weight. Once I start PCT, should I drop it back down to 1.5 grams? The gear helps utilize the extra protein versus being off cycle, 1.5 grams is the higher end anyway. Any point on keeping it higher than 1.5g/,b?

Second, I was going to reduce my training volume at some point, just a few less sets and/or less drop sets, rest pauses, etc. Would I also cut the volume at the start of PCT once the last injection clears the system?

I will preface this with....i am no pro.
However, I try to keep my diet close to cycling diet unless I start gaining weight post cycle. So trying to keep everything the same for as long as possible has always been my way of trying to keep my gains. Same goes for intensity, though this will usually slow down on its own as your body balances out. So as time goes on.....intensity and volume will naturally decrease. Fight it to try to keep that new muscle:)

Try not gain or lose weight for a while after cycle. Takes both diet and exercise intensity/volume to maintain.
Just my experience. Hopefully 3j will chime in with more specific diet comments and their are plenty of people on here that can give great intensity/volume advice.
Good luck bro

dont make that stupid mistake...

pct doesn't mean ease up, it means push harder.. youre trying to retain what you gained..

that means an increase in cals.. eating more saturated fats.. and keeping things in the gym heavy

I agree with the Diet Part, don't change it, unless you start putting on Fat.

As for Training.
During my Cycle's, I'm usually pushing as hard as I can.
So that takes quite a Toll on your Joints/Ligaments/and Tendons.
Which take more time to get use to Increased Loads, then your Muscles do.

So I like to give them All a Break, by reducing the Weight, but Increasing the Reps.
You reduce the Risk of Injury by doing this, without losing Muscle Mass........................... JP

actually adding a little bit of fat is ok when thinking of long term.. better to gain a little bit there and not lose muscle or have a poor recovery.. dont think short term
