I live in UK and suffered from hypogonadal symptoms for 7 years. I can't get an erection, have no libido, no energy, motivation, depression and my test level is 7.9 (9.9-30.0). As you can see its below range but doctors over here won't help me. They said that having low test isn't unhealthy and shouldn't cause me any problems and that i could live a long life like this etc.. but I don't believe them. It surely can't be healthy having low test levels?

I'm thinking of self treating, 100mg test cyp twice a week and 0.5 adex twice a week. Does this look ok? Surely it must be healthier than living with low t? I'm 27 years old.

your docs are full of crap, as i am sure you know. no 'problems' except you'll feel like crap your entire life, elevated cholesterol, weak bones, etc.

you might start w/ 50mg twice a week, and go up if needed.

That's a reasonable plan, but how will you monitor the effects? Can you do your own blood tests? I wouldn't jump into it at 27 on the basis of a single low T score and would want to be really sure that there are no other conditions causing your symptoms.

I am in the same boat as I live in the UK and my Dr said I was fine and my Test levels are 7.9. I am going to do a shot of Test Cyp @ 125mg every 5 days and Arimidex 0.5mg every 3 days. Only thing I can say mate is please make sure you have a good legit supplier as you don't want any fake or under-dosed crap as there is so much about. Luckily I can get Pharma Grade gear so all good but please be careful!

I am hoping I can live a normal life without feeling so low and scared, my anxiety stops me from living a normal life. Sex is not important to me anymore, tired, irritable, mood swing, high cholesterol......All the joys of having low T! I am 38, 6ft, 224lbs, good shape but my abdomen, well I look like I am pregnant!!

I think in the UK you can legally force your doc to give you testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if you are below the normal range.

I saw it on another forum, I'll look for it...that's bullshit!

WTF?! Testosterone deficiency has been clinically proven to CAUSE PREMATURE DEATH. I don't know if you can force them to provide you with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), but I can sure as hell say I'd be looking into as many doctors as possible until I find one that's not a complete full-blown retard!

My .02c :)

March right back into your doctors office, and tell him the british society for sexual medicine says that people with a range below 14, are eligble for a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) trial. Show this to your doctor and dont take no for an answer. This is your body not his. I'm sure he can say it's fine, but he doesn't feel the way you do

bssm.org.uk/downloads/UK_Guidelines_Androgens_Male_2010.pdf

Print that out, and show it him. If he doesn't listen, go elsewhere. I know people here in uk getting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), it's just finding the correct doctor to work with you.

These guys seem to treat people with testosterone problems. It is private though so quite expensive, however it does get the ball rolling.

For testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and for ED problems in the UK you can also try:
