Wallmart Return Policy suxs!!
Ok, so I got our kids new bikes for x-mas, got a pretty good deal on 3 mongoose aluminum bikes, my girls are growing up & they graduated to 24'' bikes .. the little one still needed a 16'' bike...
I paid $135.00 per bike, and of course saved the receipt,
So the day after X-mas my 8 year old is riding her bike & it didn't work right, So I thought, ok, no worries, we'll just go & exchange it in the next few days..
We arrive @ Walmart receipt in hand & the customer service rep tells me, "Ok, sir u cannot exchange it here, I "rather" u go back to the same Walmart u purchased it from...
WTF ????????
As I looked at her with a smile on my face I thought to my self,
Seriously???? So, I tell her I bought this far from here & there's no way I'm driving back to return it, I have a receipt and this is "Walmart" so please return my money...
and I ask her where is it stated in your policy that someone has to go back to the original store to make a return ????
She tells me, Well it's the policy sir, so I say, can u please print it out for me in Black & white, it felt like she took it as a personnal challange...
Like she was prolly thinking, ok, I'm gonna prove this f'n customer I'm right, even if I'm wrong ...
So after searching in her computer & viewing pages 1 and page 2, after page 2 she was slowing down & decided to call her "manager" using her blue tooth device thing she was wearing on her apron....
The manager comes & tells her of course return their money back, (they have their receipt)
To summarize, u gotta be careful with Walmart employees, they will make up their own policies, & u better stick to what's written in black & white..
