I should be able to get a hold of Chip next week, but until then am interested in what you guys think.
I have just gotten my labs back after 12 weeks starting back on a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocol and some results are very concerning to me and I would welcome some feedback.
A little background:
I am 50 years old
5***8221;9, 220 lb, 22% bf
Started a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocol last year around March because my test levels had dropped into the low 300***8217;s. Stayed on for about 6 weeks, but had some bad side affects***8230; no sleep, headaches, etc***8230;
So stopped until this past June and started back on a very conservative protocol Chip recommended: 100 test cyp every 5 days, 250iu Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and anti-E pill, the day after the test shot.
Also, because of high BF at the start and a desire to improve body compensation, I also started taking anavar , for 6 weeks.
I ended the anavar about a month ago (the results were fantastic.. dropped 35 lb and bf down 6%)
I did not experience the side affects this time on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) as I did the first time. So kudos to Chip for getting me on the right path.
So after about 10 weeks on this testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) the results are as follows***8230;. Late June is when I took the first lab work before I started back. What concerns me is the test level, the estrogen levels and the PSA.
There was some good news along with the decreasing of bf%.. lipids are better in places, liver enzymes which were always a problem are better as well.

Yep you read it right... test is over 2000 !!!! Now get this.. when I was on the first protocol last year with Chip, I was doing 200mg test cyp and two injections of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) a week and the highest my test got was 800. So now I am taking lower doses and it skyrockets.
The PSA of course is a worry... but some research tells me that both very high test and high estrogen can cause this. But will get to Doc soon to get a finger just to make sure.
THe good news is that I feel fine. No acne or anything like that... body composition is better than it has been... ever... of course with a test level like that I guess it should be... lol
I am sure Chip will have some wisdom for me when he returns, but welcome any thoughts from you guys.
