what do you eat PRE-workout

How long before your workout do you eat..........and what does this meal usually consist of?

I gave up ephedra awhile ago, used to be a pre-workout boost. lookin to achieve the same type of effect naturally. so what do you guys do??

cmon guys, this is an easy question. lets see some responses. jsut curious to see what you all do.
 
Good luck trying to get the same effect from FOOD as you do with ephedra :(

I down a protein shake 1 hour prior and eat an apple 1/2 prior to w/o's
 
i have an Eas adavt edge shake.. 15g protein and 21g sugar. about 30 minutes prior.

good luck finding natural stuff. high glucose drinks or foods are your best bet.
 
I have a whey protein and banana shake about .5 hrs before training. Food = to ephedra??? riiiiiiiiight.

usually i eat oatmeal and 150g of canned tuna 30 min before workout !
....and a wheyprotein shake about 20 min after workout ! :)
i kinda feel nausea right after workout, not hungry at all !
 
8 to 10 oz. of either some extra lean ground beef or some chicken breast combined with a half cup (uncooked) of white or brown rice. Sometimes I will sub the rice for some oatmeal.
 
Oatmeal and a protein shake.....If I do a PM workout as opposed to my normal morning routine, I eat 1cup of pasta and a high carb protein shake.
 
I workout in the mornings... about an hour after I wake.. I don't eat anything until after the workout.. I also take ephedrine before the workout..and a big cup of coffee!!!
