What prevents my doc from prescribing AI

prudens

What are some of the top reasons my doc might be so cautious about prescribing AI? I asked him at the start of the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and he says you don't need it. There was no E2 labs done.

Sounds like ignorance is stopping yours. The only REAL reason why a doctor wouldn't prescribe is due to off-label use being somewhat an issue right now. As aromatase inhibitors are still listed for female patients, many docs are leery about it. I would DEMAND a hormone panel with E2/TSH/Total test/SHBG/cortisol/glucose/ALT/AST/BUN/Creatinine/CBC/Hematocrit. If he can't be responsible enough to manage all that comes with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), he shouldn't be practicing that kind of medicine period.

I responded in your other thread but completely agree with Half here, get that estrogen checked whether its through him, another doctor, or on your own if need be.

sounds like a good doctor, you should stick with him.
is your nipples sensetive? why do you think you need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) ??
